I can't agree more. 2/10, 3/10, etc. NG3 is not nearly that bad on any level. That means the game is so broken & buggy it can't be enjoyed or played. The game is rock solid despite any gripes. At the very worst, on any scoring system, I'd say that by their own standards NG should be rated no less than 6. rambles on.
DMC better watch out.
that I can agree, very well said.
I'm just happy to have a reason to hopefully go back and play NG3 again once I do wrap it up. Yeah I've been slacking. Though I do hope other weapons are added for free. I doubt any other complaints would be fixed in NG3 so I look forward to the future...
I can neither agree nor disagree because you do make a valid point.
Though stating both the Talons & Scythe are the two worst weapons in the game is opinion I'd have to partially disagree with you on. While not the best I actually really enjoy the Talons in NG2 & later in Sigma 2. Clumsy at times, yes, but once I got use to them I really enjoyed them to some degree & used them often enough. Actually, now that I think of it, there's many practical uses you...
while broke on so many levels the game plays and runs great. One thing I realized last night, moving through Chapters 5-7, is that NG3 is still actually quite fun & plays rock solid. Granted I'd prefer to see more of the Old NGs. I'd prefer to see the old combat system, I'd prefer to see a better story if any at all, I'd prefer to see better enemies, boss battles, a more Epic game. But at the end of the day, despite any gripes, the game runs like butter and is a fun action...
I can't agree or disagree but I wouldn't go as far to call it great. Though in it's own right, so far, it's been a decent, solid, good game.
They did go out and try to appeal to the mass market instead of doing what they've done best. Make a solid Action Hack n Slash game. The story, they can do w/o, the combat feels... well let's just say it doesn't feel like it should or as good as it's been, etc. I'd hate to say it's cheap but it...
I just have to ask.... why the F is this even a story!!?? If in fact children can be killed in AC3 then a hot topic no doubt. But why even ask such a stupid Fn question atm.... Mindless trash like this that makes N4G a crap site these days
Couldn't agree more. Ninja Gaiden & NG2 (also Sigma) were great. Granted the camera and some minor gripes can be had but in general both were what Fans & Action gamers want. You are never going to appeal to the masses so just do what you do best. Make a bloody good action game for your fans. Corporate idiots.
Definitely not deserving of almost a perfect score but it is a phenomenal game that was executed fantastically. While I have some mixed feelings about the game my only big complaint was that I felt the combat where you're actually set loose could have been much better & there should have been a little more of it. The story, while not great was solid, delivery, execution, uniqueness, just everything about Asura's Wrath was simply fantastic but definitely short of perfection. Opinio...
Perhaps the title should read, in the UK:
Asura’s Wrath has been delayed until March 9th due to “uncertainty of the UK retail market”.
not sure how the market is there but I wouldn't go as far to say lost..... but yeah, @ least stateside that Feb release date had it sitting in a really nice spot.
seeing as that Brotherhood and Revelations are expansions it's almost fitting how they both provide one location. I will admit though that these expansions have lead to a stagnate game & I find myself forcefully trying to play Revelations.
One of my biggest gripes in the short time w/ Revelations is it's choppy. In that I play a minute then get this BS Desmond scene. I feel the story of Desmond is convoluted and quite hoenstly AC can stand on it's own w/o the ...
Not only do they have some amazing developers but.... they are Japanese & have done the games that can only help make Rising a successful game; or rather a polished & perfectly executed experience. Specifically speaking Bayonetta & Vanquish. Sword Play + Shooting both executed beautifully, etc. Just solid, polished, and well rounded games that between the two play styles, look, feel would bold well for Rising on every level. And of course some of the best Japanese developers &...
most of the time it's a one size fits all which seems to be like a XL or XXL. Sucks but that's they way it is. It's free and they can't take the time and money to specifically get everyone what they want. it's free, be happy! also it's probably not pre-shrunk so it should shrink a good size.
am I missing something though? I thought the email said the Rewards program wasn't rolling out because it needed more work. This article states it's been ...
not that I would but remind me not to buy any Cypress Hill albums. :D
yeah, I can't see this case even going to court. If it does it's just another prime example of how ROYALLY F'd Up our Judiciary system and laws are. What a Crock of .... on so many levels. You could probably write a book on how F'd up this concept and his idea that he's being ripped off is. WTF dude, really!?
this is idiotic...
the PS3 only has split 512 Ram while the 360 has a dedicated 512. The PS3 uses 256mb XDR main Ram and another 256mb DDR3 VRam. Which would easily explain the 256 PS3 vs 512 360. Now I'm no wizz and not sure how things would go but imho this just proves how dumb everyone is and why this site is FAIL!
hmm strange, didn't see mention of that in the review... walk along boy. Your ill comments have no place here. If you were knew what was good for you you'd take that Copy of Forza 3 and put it on the shelf to play some GT5. :P they're both solid titles in their own right.
after reading the glowing review I find it hard to see where they felt the need to place an 8.5 on GT5. From the review it sounds like this guy botched his scoring. But whatever, it's a glow...
could be done... nice points on the camping (again, if I recall originals had tents not quite the same but...) cooking @ a campfire plus medkits, etc, etc. I guess my concern is how you maintain focus in an open world w/o having all that backtracking that feels like extra mileage to tack on extra gameplay hours and becomes more burdensome that fun. Also a big concern is whether or not they actually nail the gameplay. I recently played Legend (PS3) again and wow, archaic mechanics still. Runni...
nope, I'm in the bedroom right away. If I even needed to get that far :D she'll be out like a light w/in 30 minutes after anyway so I can get all the gaming in after wards...
same here & it's a great hobby...
although after I bought my Tag a few years back my Tissot has sat in cold storage. :D then again I had worn nothing but the Tissot for like 6 years prior. Beautiful watches though. Whoever wins these beauties are going to have a fantastic time piece. Tissot makes a great product. Hopefully I'll be one of the winners, lol. I have been wanting something new lately...
@cb4g
back when I was a kid there was no ESRB. You can't argue "It was a lot easier back then to know what was inappropriate for children..."
Especially considering how easy it is to find what kind of content is in any game now that they ESRB has been established and rates games not only accordingly but properly. A simple glance at the cover shows rating, the back of the box says all reasons for such rating. Now I will agree that quite often th...
Idiots, Target is the one Retailer who knows wtf they're doing. Instead of hanging onto games for half a decade or longer like *cough, Shopko, Kmart, Walmart* hoping that 5 years from now when they finally mark it down to $20 people will buy it.... What I'm saying is this isn't a news flash!! Target is a great company and they don't keep old stuff on their shelves. They'd rather discount, flip and be rid of said games to make way for sellers. Rinse & repeat. It's a...
