Are games not grand.

jealous, extremely jealous. Sad, extremely sad. to think this past week I could have put another 20 hours into Ni No Kuni had I been able to play remotely. Instead I'm right where I left off a week ago and who knows when I'll find the time to sit down in front of the tv to continue.

I'm not sure what the hold up is regarding Remote Play but even w/ the PSP it was a long lost feature. It's truly sad that more games don't offer gamers the ability to use thi...

at least it was only a minion and not a $10-40 game. I only checked the store to dl Kat and Emmett so no browsing for me.

the price is definitely a problem. We're in a time where people just don't have funds to spend. They're too busy paying off all those credit cards, their houses, cars, etc. Uncle Sam is raping us every 2 weeks and we're scraping by just to live a comfortably broke life. Even w/ the PS3 at it's current price it's barely touched the install base it should. Because of price. $100 and parents would be scooping these up for their kids. Gamers who have content or a reason to...

Nah, just make it about $900 so all the PoS profiteers don't go out buying it at launch. Or sell it for $900 the first week then drop it to $500 shafting all those profiteers. Bwahahahahahahahaha!!

seriously though. Most people still don't have $200-300 for current gen consoles. For $2000 the PS4 best come inside a new 55" Bravia. :D In all seriousness. Like many others I paid $600+tax for my 60GB at launch. It was a tough pill to swallow and would again be a to...

handle it right. all they need to do is remake LoK Blood Omen. I'd even take the same style. Completely redone visually & I'd bite. Easily one of the best games/experiences when I was a teen... I'd say remake the complete series including Soul Reaver but BO2 was a bloody mess. Just an atrocious game..... Defiance did it best but even that had many flaws. Nothing significant enough to make it a bad game but enough to make a solid game nothing better than average at best....

Eternal Sonata was brilliant! Lost Odyssey was as well. LO is easily one of my all time faves.

Makes me wonder. What ever happened to Mist Walker? After Blue Dragon, LO and a DS [?] game they seem to have faded. Not that it would happen because Sakaguchi hates PS but I'd love to see them do a game similar to LO or even a new LO. Kind of makes me want to go out and buy a 360 again just so I Can go back and play it again....

I don't think that's entirely it. It probably has every bit to do w/ Licensing. Each copy would count as two sales doubling what SCE pays MLB. At least I'd imagine MLB sees a piece of the pie for each game sold. Because of that it would be impossible for Sony to offer Cross Buy w/o taking a pounding on this franchise financially...

I have to admit though. Having MLB Cross Buy would be great to see. It seems I never get as much time as I'd like in w/ MLB but w...

the annual installments have really killed this series. I absolutely love the game. 2 years until 2 dropped was perfect. THen we get the other 2 in the "trilogy" year after year until the next year sees AC3. By the time AC 2.3 released my interest was minimal. I barely played it. AC3, steelbook case still sitting sealed on my shelf. Quite honestly I have no clue if or when I'll actually play it. Sometimes an entry is so great you want to see another release next year. That's...

I was looking at DQ the other night saying I need to go back and play it. Not that I'd have time to. With the Vita I'd find time....

too bad this is a bogus article. the title is already changed to "Debunked." nice journalism source site. :|

I probably should boycott simply because I probably won't get around to playing it until it's $35 anyway. But nope, copy arriving tomorrow alongside Sly. While I don't agree w/ Micro Bull I do support Visceral and they've done a fine job w/ the Dead Space IP. Until they screw that up they have my respect, support & money.

it's not even just the COD crowd. Developers are just trying to hard to make their games more appealing to the masses. The fact of the matter is that the masses are going to either buy a game or pass. Stick to your roots, stick to what the fans expect because at the end of the day they're the only ones buying your games..... that is the simple fact of the matter. These people buying/playing these games, CoD, Madden, etc often only play those games. They're casual gamers for a reas...

the only thing Government to control is News. there's absolutely no reason, cause, or benefit to the way the media has ran itself or the "News" they beat to death then continue to beat it to death w/ death leg when then they turn to the arm and keep beating it.... I bet news, ie Monkey See, Monkey Do has a bigger impact on all this hoopla than any other media.......

good ole Shadow Hearts. I was just looking at those the other night thinking I really need to play them again sometime. though the third is actually still in the cellophane I loved the first two. I really enjoyed the ring system too.

I'd love to see Suikoden II available. I've actually been tempted to sell the first two but I'm afraid I'd never be able to replace II. Unfortunately I just don't see Konami releasing a good Suikoden title. Perhaps it's t...

I'm not a fan of trying to appeal to everyone. It's just not possible. I'm also not a fan of trying to appeal to a larger audience by sacrificing parts that have made something great. simple fact of the matter is either people will buy it or they will not. The only real thing that might deter someone from buying a game is the difficulty and inability to play on an easier setting. I guess fortunately enough I've failed to keep up w/ news on DS3 so I'll let the game speak fo...

This is the first spectacular RPG [so far] that I've played since Lost Odyssey. Those 2 games, in my mind, define everything great about RPGs & have truly been the only 2 spectacular RPGs this gen. Yeah there's some good ones in the mix as well but these two, in their own right, have nothing but greatness written all over them. Instant classics, true masterpieces.... Not to mention it's great to see a truly deserving RPG get the great praise Ni No Kuni has received. It's r...

exactly... any type of membership such as this generally gets auto renewed. any trial that requires a card on file always states you must cancel before the trial is over otherwise it's assumed you want said subscription and are billed... Consumer error. I guess in the process he may be able to spread the word so others don't suffer the same fate but he'll find no sympathy here. If I recall when I used my 30 day trial it specifically stated somewhere that I saw it the subscription ...

the problem is Namco Bandai didn't oversee the ordering process. here's the problem. Publishers don't have the manpower or internet storefronts for this type of thing. Nor do they have the funds to maintain a proper store. NISA had headaches early on and it took them a while to get on top of things.

I will say that their E-Commerce provider should have said hey, wait, we have X orders going to the same people but don't have enough inventory to fill all the or...

well the regular edition is sold out at Amazon.com. Usually ships in 1-3 weeks. There's one seller who has it listed for $60.93 + $9.76 shipping atm... Hoping to crack my copy open Sat night after work or Sunday night after work which begins my weekend. Even the Strategy Guide was sold out Day 1.

Not even sure I was really in the mood the devote so much time to an RPG but it's been so long since we saw a great RPG, rather JRPG released. This either shows how poorly p...

not really surprising. Controllers are pretty much exclusive to Console manufacturer. Same as headsets.... Logitech just really doesn't have a market anymore. This isn't the PS2 days where they have the best wireless controller on the market. still, they make some good peripherals. Not that I'd imagine they're big sellers but w/o Logitech who's going to make us quality Racing Wheels? Sad day....

Bayonetta and Vanquish were both excellent games. I think the problem with MGR, well even Kojima Productions couldn't make it. MGR is just a difficult concept to execute. Fact of the matter is like their games or not Platinum is making some solid games well deserving of any praise they've received... two cents.
