This is a law that needs to be changed. The people that are actually playing the game and creating new content through there play through should be the copyright holder.
It's funny how that works here. Then when you point it out everyone disagrees or ignores the facts.
This does seem to be the same thing. I know a bunch of people who share accounts to play what the other person bought.
Why is this an amazing new feature?
I don't have their gamepad, but it's on my to buy list. Last time I looked it up it was sold out. Probably not anymore I'll have to check.
But don't claim something is useless just because you haven't used it or know nothing of its features. They make great gamepads from friends I have spoken to and online reviews.
I'm not going to bother listing the added benefits, but look it up and see what you are missing out on.
I don't really care what case or card the xbox live membership comes in. I order mine online at whatever is the lowest price. Last two times I updated I got it for $35.
Currently I'm good till January 2015. Though still hoping MS throws in a year extension on Day One Editions like some have said. Even though I know it won't happen since I heard nothing about it, still would be nice to get.
The Wii u layout is a carbon copy of the 360.
But when people hold there hands together one thumb sits on top of the other.
Seems more comfortable with one thumb down low and the other leaning forward.
In the end only one manufacture goes with the PS style while everyone else goes with the offset design. Why is everyone not copying the PS style?
It must say something that no PS style controllers are made for the Xbox, but the Xbox design is the most copied.
@Narutone That didn't stop movie fans from buying PS3 for BluRay and that was $100-300 more (if we include the arcade).
A lot of people buy Ipads even though you can get an android device for half the cost because they like the software it features.
$500 for something that can do everything and will last for 5+ years is cheap when people spend $200+ every other year on a smartphone. Or more on a tablet.
I'm just saying that the xbo...
RROD was old news by 2008 and the xbox had 3 years of warranty. Mine was replaced because it stopped reading discs after 2+ years, claimed RROD and got it replaced for free. Lasted till I bought a new slim.
What about the YLOD? That wasn't fixed for free by Sony. I doubt a lot of people were so impatient that they bought a second console because they couldn't wait 2 weeks for theirs to be returned.
@bathyj If people were just waiting for the PS2 because the PS1 was so successful then wouldn't they wait for the PS3 because that was even more successful?
I'm just saying that if you exclude Japan since PS3 sold 10+ million more than xbox there, because it really shouldn't count as a market for the xbox. Though they did try and sell it they might as well not have. You would see that around the rest of the world the xbox would be ahead by around that same amount ...
Except the Xbone has more potential to attract the casual crowd.
If those features turn out to be great expect sales to pick up for Xbox. PlayStation doesn't have the integration of entertainment built in like the Xbox does so that could be a huge boon.
Though like the PS3 with bluray it could hurt attach rates.
If releasing a year early is the primary reason for success then the Dreamcast wouldn't have killed Sega.
And if you look at sales excluding Japan MS sold around 10 million more than Sony. MS had around a 6 million lead by the time PS3 launched.
With 1 market not available and removing the Japanese market for both consoles the 360 sold better worldwide taking numbers from both consoles from 2006 onward.
Basically MS risked a lot by relea...
Well obviously. The question was clearly directed towards single player games.
@ death That's what should be talked about. What can't the PS4 do that the X1 can.
Hardware specs put aside, PS4 with DDR5 and Xbox with esram and the 4 emotion chips and slightly different GPUs they are very similar.
People hate on the idea of the cloud because they talk about infinite power. But the X1 just needs a little more to surpass the PS4 not 4TFs. That is very doable with current tech.
The X1 has way more features the PS4 ca...
@Dark Witness I remember hearing about that feature. That could be useful. Hopefully it's something MS implements. Do you know if it's on the developers end or will be done on all games?
So, is there anything the PS4 can do that the X1 can't.
And don't list any exclusives. Seriously.
The Watcher 2 is available now for $10. I just got it.
Thanks I was wondering how that works.
I agree it does offer a great value for what you are spending.
I am looking forward to AC 2 because I never played it.
Microsoft should spend some of there billions on all these companies and change the game. Won't happen but if any company has the resources to do such a thing it's Microsoft.
It would be funny reading the comments if MS did make a grab for several of these studios and purchase them. Won't happen though because they aren't smart enough to do the obvious and spend the money.
