So you are just going to list all the apps available? You doing this just to inflate your numbers?
The list would be like 5 things if you just said apps.
Anyway, you guys are going to make this a big issue and then you will get another 180 and these will be free and then everyone will just say that it should have always been like that and it doesn't matter anyway.
I know the routine by now. I got gold for years still up till 2017 so I'm good...
You guys all missed the point of what I was saying.
I was just pointing out that if both MS and Sony had 4 million units to sell and MS sold those to 13 different regions while Sony sold to 32 then MS would have a larger market in those particular markets.
Of course Sony would have sold more in the markets where MS isn't selling though.
BTW: why can't I edit my posts sometimes?
it's boots up fast. That's what I like of it. Works great for bluray, but updates often, download then install instead of download and play, cinevie.
More distracting ads on my PS3 with the moving ribbon and scrolling block of ads for credit cards, etc.
The xbox interface will always trump the PS.
What's the difference how many countries the system launches in?
If the system sells out in the regions launched in they will have a larger market share in that region seeing as they are not spread to thin.
It can be spun positively too.
I agree. The 360 was close to perfect. I never had a RRoD, just upgraded to a slim.
The only thing I would add to your list is continued support for free games and more sales for gold members.
IMO the PS4 is looking good because it has lots of things to improve on from the PS3 like party chat, better online, mandatory installs and hour long system updates often.
Hopefully both systems learn from the other.
Xbox with more excl...
Well it's not really a mobile game. I got it on Win8 and use a 360 controller.
The games is not bad.
I doubt Sony could afford the losses. MS can.
I really hope they do because I'd save $100.
It would be the smartest 180 yet.
But if it was MS then you and many others probably would be trying to add gasoline.
@dragonknight
Shadowrun was cross platform play in 2007. I played it on PC against Xbox players and eventually got it on Xbox to 100% it years later after I lost my copy.
That was an original fps to bad it didn't do better.
@andrewsqual then what's the thing on the PS when you start it up. When I turn mine on I see a ribbon of ads for games, movies and TV.
Not to mention the most distracting one, the ticker in the upper right corner scrolling no matter what page you turn to on the XMB.
Those aren't ads?
Well the ad was more effective this way since people are talking about it.
But seriously you are right, it should have been family appropriate if the parental restrictions are turned on.
Does PS plus still have ads if you are a subscriber?
I personally find there ads more distracting because they are constantly moving compared to the one small ad on the Xbox in the lower right corner.
Actually the supreme court ruled that the media doesn't have to tell the truth. I think it was in 2003.
Xbox 360 will still be the best streaming box from PC next gen because PS3, PS4 & X1 will all be bluray and have cinevie. I hate that DRM.
This is always a dumb complaint to me. If you are a serious gamer you are going to be paying for gold or plus.
You then get the features that are behind the pay wall.
If you are going to complain about having to pay to use Netflix, wouldn't it be smarter to pay for $50 bluray player or streaming box that can do it for free if you don't already own it.
Regarding the TV stuff, if MS is serious about offering that to people to use exclusively for TV a...
Yeah, just going by what the article said.
Xbox should outsell Wii U overall, but the interesting stat is that only 179000 games have been sold on the system. That attach rate is pretty horrible for a new system.
Also the xbox outsold PS3 games by 25% so that's great too for the system.
The xbox controller is my favorite. My only disappointment with it is the D-pad, but most games I play only use it for selecting items, and it does a fine job there. I probably would use it more if it was better though.
well, to be fair those services are advertised as such.
