PG said they were very happy with Astral Chain sales and we have the numbers. It has sold over 1 million copies as of December 2019. It sold very well.
SEGA owns the Bayo IP but Nintendo owns Bayonetta 2 and 3 games. They own the code for it. Why is it 6 years later people cannot understand over and over Platinum saying Bayo 2 is Nintendo's call.
Nintendo never owned Daemon X Machina. They only published it in the US but neve rhad any ownership on it. Astral Chain however is a success. So that game is staying.
Oh I am sure Kamiya would love to see two of his passion projects bastardize his vision. He already saw Dante get ruined in one game. I'm sure he would love to see another and that would only push PG further away from MS.
Nintendo still co-owns the IP. Nintendo allowed this to happen. When Kamiya was asked why Nintendo allowed this to happen. Kamiya said he didn't know other than Nintendo has been very kind to them. Kamiya with nice things to say of all things.
It's been mainly fans of the game and former Wii U owners. Switch owners have wanted this game. It had to gain a cult following from the people who actually played it you know. A a month ago no Sony fan cared about this game and most didn't know it existed.

Shenmue fans have wanted III since 2001. I was there with them. At the time they wanted it on Xbox/Xbox 360. I was there with Shenmue City. To Shenmue Online. To the Shenmue III 2005 Kikizo article meltdown. The fakes and rumors. The time Shenmue I & II were being remade for Xbox 360 but canceled after most of the first game was finished....

I played most of the game with a regular controller. The only time it was *needed* was when indoors you looked down at the gamepad but with a button press, you could have it on TV as well. So it really won't take much to change. Button press. That's it really. You could draw the actions on the gamepad but also had the option to do them with the analog sticks. Outside of Wonder Yellow, they were fairly easy to do.
I own the game and the mask already on Wii U since launch. I also backed the game on KS for a physical version. Try again.
