Good thing about the internet, can't really kill something when its up. Still massive dickmove by Nintendo.
People want good games and not forced co-op junk? Who knew? :D
Nintendo is Nintendo sadly. They'll never change. Or learn.
Stripping her of the franchise she helped establish is the cruellest thing they could do. It's horrible what they're doing.
I only began playing this after writing the article. But its certainly worthy of praise!
I think it'll bring players back - but how long would they stick around before heading back to Overwatch? I feel Overwatch has stolen its mojo and every step from the decision to charge for BB has ultimately just harmed it.
But that's the interesting thing I guess. We don't know what effect it would have. I'd love to see them do it just to give us a showcase of the long term effects of F2P.
Sometimes. I'm still waiting for Avalanche to come back around and fix JC3.
True but I think most reasonable gamers will accept a delay if the end product is worth it. Batman: AK slipped twice through deadlines (By over 4 months) and still arrived looking like it had been dragged head first through the hedge. It makes me wonder what the game would have originally turned up looking like had it made its original deadline.
Just Cause 3 continues to upset everyone and just highlight the issues inherent to this discussion sadly. Developers that have already moved on to their next big project.
If the game was positioned with that sure! But I don't want my Batman to disappear into Gotham's Great Oaks when I'm trying to save the day.
It's such a shame people just don't learn from these kinds of situations. Pre-ordering is bad for everyone.
It's just a shame its story was lumbered so horribly with all that needless baggage.
I don't even think it would be that hard. Metroid is loved as 2D and a 3D franchise - so why not just pick one and go for it again?
I suspect it'll happen eventually - seems like a natural marriage of convenience
I don't get why there's so much hate from some people. it baffles me.
I think what soured a lot of people was the lack of multiplayer. I think that was a killer moment for some people - who realised this wasn't going to be bro-adventures in space. Sad because they were always clear what the game was.
Truth be told, I'll be content with a game that does what they've said it will do. No one should be expecting this huge epic quest - this isn't that game. I suspect this game will spark a heap of copycats - ones that will scratch all those itches. But someone has to do it first - that games NMS.
True. It makes me wonder if there would have been an iteration of the game that would have made them happy. No one's ever said this game will be "the best ever" - that hypes come from gamers and the media.
It's so bizarre. Early leaks are fine and all - but usually these kind of musings are held until the review scores pop up. So many sites seem to have decided its a disappointment.
Easily the best Uncharted game imo
