Sadly with the money they've made I doubt they or Sony will care.
I feel like a lot of the arguments being made against the game come from people over-expecting or from the hyped up features. If the game was priced closer to the likes of Journey etc, I think people might have been more forgiving. But charging full price - people wanted more variety. But that's honestly just my opinion. Opinions are dime-a-dozen with NMS haha
This seems to be a common theme. People abandoned the game about a month after launch and never came back. Makes me wonder if they could turn it round
The awkward post-launch period didn't help things at all.
Knowing Nintendo - it'd be called the Nu-Wii-U
Seriously Twinfinite - there's nothing wrong with list articles if the content is there; lists are fun to make and read. But with most of your NMS list stuff it's this kind of "1 sentence per slide" and have at it junk. It paints a bad picture for the site.
I just hope that if they are going to offer up a multitude of controller add-ons - they come reasonably priced.
I'd be curious to see if they bring any Wii U games across in remake fashion. There's a number of great Wii U games that were overlooked because of the Wii U's lak of sales - perhaps they'll get another jolt of life on the NX.
I don't think we should jump to negatives just yet. Proof of concept is one thing but we haven't seen what the final form factor will be.
I do worry about how viable the device will be 2-3 years if it ends up being a tablet. Mobile technology moves so fast - it's hard to believe how the device could remain viable.
I suspect the diagrams are just there for benefit of the patent.
Indeed. I just found them very interesting as they tie in with the established narrative of the rumours we heard from Eurogamer
I really wasn't a fan of RAGE - and given how poorly the whole game came together - I'd prefer ID Software stay well away and devote time to their AAA franchises.
RAGE was a vanity project by Carmack and co. It wanted to be everything Fallout 4 and Borderlands weren't - yet was worse than those two combined.
Is there really a need for all those slides in your list? Each page has a max of 2 sentences each.
It gets a bit silly when Half Life 3 is no closer to release and fans are basically laughed off whenever the topic comes up.
This is like the 5th time this has been posted today.
I was genuinely amazed at how fun the games still are. Brutally hard, but fun.
It's true though. What harm comes from this project? Nintendo sells the original on its VC but its not like many people want to play that version. Metroid 2 is the most overlooked in the series because its the one that's aged the worst (Because GB tech ages like bread).
Luckily its being passed around by fans. Just means it'll be harder to track down updates down the line.
I think they believed it was worth $60. To be fair when you've spent however many years building such a hugely ambitious game, it becomes hard to truly gauge what that experience is worth to other people.
