Edit to my comment above, the word "port" should be replaced with "version" because some people just happen to be a little too anal retentive when it comes to using the exact, proper words when describing something.
Wait wait wait, let me edit the word "port" and put in the word "version" maybe now the comment will make more sense to you. Have a little common sense, dumbass. I'm no fan boy, I don't even play COD or MOH, I just happen to closely follow the game industry and all its happenings and inner workings. The PS3 version is obviously suffering from many developer overlooked glitches and engine issues. And as far as Uncharted 2, I really don't give a fuck what kind of...
One thing I constantly try to do but have not to date, is kill a warhawk with a carpet bomb.
Lol douche bag.
All I have to say is for all the 360 cock sucking MS fanboys is as follows...
You cannot blame Sony for an inferior port. You must charge the developers. COD is a third party title, and the reason this game is better built for the 360 is because on the PS3, it has to compete with a lot of AAA first party titles that the 360 does not have. Without this game, the 360 would be toast. And MS realizes this, and that's why I believe, as with most the COD titles that MS had some...
You mean more money.
With the drop ship?
I had a similar occurrence, I was getting away with a jeep and I had a gunner and the passenger had the flag, the gunner took out a warhawk trailing us, I dodged a tank shell, and we were in the clear. We drove under the last tunnel to our side of the map, when we were greeted by not light at the end but a drop ship, it turned, dropped it's gun turrets, and I was like, "oohhh shhiitt", I power slid into reverse, making for the other end of the tunnel, but as soon as I turned aro...
Regardless whether its false or not...
I don't see a reason to be upset by this, you have to figure, the 360 is hindered by LAG on far greater levels than that of the PS3. So in order to combat that, Activision gave the 360 version the ability to narrow down how far away the people are you are playing with. So if anything, PS3 fans, take this as a mild compliment. I don't think this is a 'MS paid for' case, but an attempt for the developers, to ensure an equal...
If this game launches next year, I'm going to be a broke ass gamer. Killzone 3, Starhawk, Resistance 3, Gran Turismo (hopefully), Maybe even Uncharted 3. 300 bucks gone, lol. And that;s not even counting all the 3rd party titles coming out like Dead Space 2, and Crysis 2 which I'll also be buying.
Fail.
The article wasn't negative, it was well researched, and very unbiased. Did you even read the article, or did you just say you did?
Flops, yes, but it is very good to see a company that is willing to take a risk to introduce new technology to the field and help set future trends for exciting consumer electronics. You gotta think, maybe Apple said well, Sony tried it with the Airboard, lets see if we can have success with a similar product. And viola, they did. But What if Sony never tried, would have Apple even thought of the iPad. And that's exactly why Sony leads the market it technological development and innovatio...
I agree, on Live, you pay for all that extra content, most of which, you have to dish out more cash for. Let's see, with Live you pay 60 bucks for the opportunity to pay more cash for the available content, and with PS Plus, you pay 50 bucks for extra free content.
My question is, why does just about every game lag, often to the point of unplayable on Live, and is almost non existent of the PSN? And that's why I believe Live is not worth the price tag.
Yes please!
Unacceptable behavior.
Also, one last thing...
Jumping on the 360 bandwagon is never an option!
okay so I did read it.
Anyway, as the writer mentioned, if the power supply did in fact fail, it is very easy and cheap to fix by yourself. There are many, many oem parts for sale on eBay. As far as his data is concerned, the PSN saves all of your DLC so he can download them again. And he can easily get his data back by removing the HDD and installing it in another PS3, or if he gets another PS3 with a bigger HDD, he can take his old HDD, borrow a friends PS3, install his HDD...
Bitch, whine, complain... This is a driving simulator. They feature many different models of the same vehicle to suit different individual tastes and challenges. This isn't let's pretend we have the latest Mazda 3 because you like the way it looks. Besides, you can almost guarantee that there will be downloadable expansions featuring new cars and tracks and so on. Remember, this is a driving sim, where you tune and test different cars with different options and try to overcome each ca...
