I'm very pleased they brought the machine pistol back from KZ1. Now if only they would bring back the alternate fire features for each weapon.
Well, I have to agree when you said the controls should be comfortable from the get go. You're right, other than learning what button does what, it shouldn't be a burden to learn how to move around, especially in an FPS. KZ2 had a huge learning curve, and I found myself strafing to hit targets more than I was aiming, but I adapted, and I'm eager to see what the new controls are like when the open beta hits.
If they were going to remake it, they should have stuck with the engine (if they called them engines back then) that Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles had. They were the best, fun as hell, fast paced, and some of the bosses were a pain in the ass, but all worth it in the end. The biggest word in there being fast, fast , fast. That's what Sonic is, fast. So damn fast that sometimes he would go faster than the screen could follow him.
Agreed, I have had that happen where people lie and say someone team killed just to get them booted. I think developers should really refine the feature to ban, kick, or report someone. That, and the community should be much more diligent about reporting those who make the game unfair and stressful for others, instead of just blowing it off. It's a group effort, and we are all to blame, those who make it happen and those who let it happen. Any one reading this who experiences these issues...
Real, or not, doesn't it seem like it would be hard to get a lot of leverage on the joysticks? Especially if you try to point them down ward. In order to use joysticks comfortably, I think you should grip the controller, or in this case console, with your palms, and not your fingers. Think about it, the using the Ps3 controller, your fingers are for buttons and you hold the controller in places with your palms.
Agreed
Perhaps you're right, but now it's a question as to whether or not I care that bad. With all the new releases this year, most, including myself will be rather too busy to play Warhawk. Due to my experience however, people do report others for being significantly better than them. It's just like in MAG where sometimes if you're squad leader in a squad that has all clan members in it and you're the odd one out, sometimes they will all vote to kick you even if you're doin...
I actually find the money system refreshing and original, even if it is a tad annoying. I would've liked more trophies though.
Hey, I'm not complaining, I didn't get into the original beta, and this sure as hell beats waiting till Feb. 22nd to play it.
Ill tell you what happened. If you search for them, you can find old articles here on N4G about it. Back when it was introduced, the gaming community spammed forums, news sites, and Sony PR about it, gratuitously expressing their hatred towards the new design (I know, cause I was one of them). Sony tried to defend it, but they eventually gave in to the onslaught of loathsome comments. My personal suggestion: Don't change a damn thing about the design. If they do change anything, they can ...
This news doesn't affect me in any way what so ever. I think the biggest argument in there is between the wireless speeds. I always use a hard wired connection, which is literally the best way to go to ensure LAG free gaming.
Wow, I thought Google Chrome for sure.
As a huge fan of the first Jurassic Park movie, I can very well see this worth at least a rental.
I agree with you, and boosted sales are always good, but do we really want Sony or Ms to rush the next gen of consoles and risk another RROD fiasco? I'd prefer a very thoroughly thought out and carefully implemented product.
Good job hackers! You've finally got local recognition for your cause. Now go ahead and keep on hacking the Ps3 so Sony can take more features out of it. (example: other os). Seriously though, stop hacking, or at least keep it to yourselves. Before you know it they'll remove the browser or something.
Good, clean fun for all!
Not a bad idea, but then you alienate renters who only watch one movie in a few months' span (like me). So it makes sense (to me at least) to pay 4-6 bucks instead of 30 bucks over a few months for a subscription to watch just one movie ever once in a while. This is why Sony offers Netflix and and Vudu. So users have a choice in how they want to spend their money. Now if Sony were to offer the option for the user to pay either a subscription for unlimited movies (discounted w/ PS+) or to ...
Yeah, I got it for $7 too during the same deal.
I agree, my hands hurt so bad after only after a half hour playing on my PSP. Then again I could get a PSPGo and use the Bluetooth and my Ps3 contoller. If they made it so you can play online cross platform (PSP and Ps3) then it would truly be the second coming of Jesus.
Very interesting, and I'm looking forward to your 360 list. I do have to say that the majority of your list are opinions of things that may happen, because of what's happened, and aren't exactly secrets, and is borderline fanboy due to it's opinionated nature, and only borderline because of your mention of a potentially similar 360 list to be. However, there are a few good facts in there, but many more opinions than facts.
