Well you can own a PS3 but still claim that as an opinion. I have both and own Call of Duty 4 on 360 (for Live) and MGS4, F1, Motorstorm, GT5P and Warhawk on PS3 but I still don't think it has any MUST-HAVE games. The ones I have were good but not really all that special.
Well how many people do you know who would buy a console but no games for it? Either he's very retarded or is just lying...

Anyway, back on topic: I have never used Second Life, I didn't get into the Home Beta so I have no idea what to expect...but saying that, I don't use Facebook/Myspace or any of that junk so I probably wont care :/
What are the SPUs going to operate on if there is not enough RAM to get anywhere near their saturation level? 512Mb of RAM is NOT enough, especially when that is shared with the GPU. Hell, my PC has 5 times that amount of RAM and it only just plays Crysis maxed out. I have seen Heavy Rain but remember graphical fidelity is only one minor part of a game. You can have all the loveliness you want but if the game is heavily scripted to allow it, what's the point? The PS3 GPU is just a 7800GTX it ...
The PS3 and 360 are reaching their operational limits. They can optimise stuff here and there but in general with 512Mb of RAM, you just can't do that much. Also the graphics cards are several generations old now. The PS4/X720 will be 4Gb RAM, Quad core hyper-threaded or 16 Core Cell at 4Ghz and some GPU better than a 4870x2. God that'll be sweet.
