I did the same thing! We're just about out of the woods and soon we'll all be jammin some multiplayer!
I enjoy both. I've been hammering out single player for the time being. The best part about online is I can play with people I don't always get to see on a day to day basis.

I think we would be a bit more understanding if they provided a clearer explanation when they update us. Usually they are rather vague and give us no time table. Why not just be upfront and clear?
Why not post something like "Hey guys! Thanks for being patient. We want you to know that we have 400 men and women working around the clock to rebuild the entire network" or something to that effect.
I think gamers would show more confidence and patience...
I knew a woman who's husband had a tough time with Jesus being middle eastern. I have no idea how he got that way. I would assume he was raised to be racist but it definitely was an interesting discussion.
I never did find out if he ever changed his view.
Racism has always and will always exist. People hate people for a variety of reasons. Where they live, how they live, what color they are, what accent they have, etc. Race is the tip of an ice berg that isn't melting anytime soon.

Yup! Just got my PS3 about a week before the attack. Was looking forward to some borderlands! Now i can still play the single player but i really like the co-op experience it provides. I am anxiously waiting!

That's exactly what i have been doing. I switch between single player ps3 games and retro games. Just went on a Mega Man run last night.
