It's like Christmas!
Perhaps I could have worded that better? The second sentence I wrote should read "people THAT ARE tired". Perhaps you thought I posted "People ARE tired".
Nothing I wrote implies that I have grown or dislike the series. The only thing my post implies is that this year BF is going to fare better due to marketing.
Saying that COD is hitting it's apex is just an observational comment and it's subjective at that.
Hope ...
Actually it's going to come down to marketing and BF3 is going to do miles better than it has before. People tired of the COD experience will be looking for an alternative and probably will come to enjoy and appreciate BF3 for what it is.
While COD has done well in the past I think they are hitting their apex. Nothing stays "on top" forever.
@logicwins
I understand what your saying but we shouldn't be enablers to such behavior. We should shun such activities and rightfully so.
How someone can take pride in using a modded controller is beyond me. They aren't faster at pulling the trigger. Its manipulating the system.
But in all honesty what can really be done about it? I'm not sure anything can be. At least from where I sit.
Kee has a point. At this point Bowling could take a massive dump and walk out of the stall with a TP square stuck to his shoe.
The result would be two separate headlines on the front page.
Good post sir
That's job security!
I forgot it's trendy not to have a sense of humor.
This isn't news. Anyone that's been following Rockstar over the years could have told you to expect this.
I think when people ask Rockstar what they have next they are inquiring about a future GTA installment or Agent.
This probably would have turned out better for everyone had McNamara not been making decisions.
It's cool to hate stuff on the internet.
If you haven't you definitely should. It's a good change of pace story wise compared to IV. It's more lighthearted I would say and comes across more vibrant then the murky IV.
I preferred Spec Ops in MW2. I liked working with a buddy to achieve certain goals. A lot slower paced then online which was a good change of pace.
It looks like they are taking this mode to the next step which is good.
How they handle the multiplayer remains to be seen.
In all honesty COD has just about run its course with me. While i did long a good amount of time on MW2 I found that I returned black ops after 2-3 months of having it. Got a...
It's true. A little too much time tends to go by where we hear nothing. Then with the power of the internets we can research the smallest tid bit and blow it up huge.
I was doing fine until recently (cryptic postings on GTAF) but now I have it again!
Well I am waiting to see what improvements have been made. I wasn't super impressed with FF13 but it isn't the abomination that it is made out to be. If they actually listen to fans with what should be included and done then we may be in for a treat.
There really isn't room for more failures from Square Enix.
The "snap to close up dialogue" would be one of the few complaints I had about Oblivion. It feels awkward each and every time.
Should this be addressed then they really have nothing to worry about. :)
The reading comprehension here from some astounds me.
It fits with getting a 10 and getting a lot of backlash from fans from being a step backwards. Part of the joke. That and to draw hits. Look how many people commented without reading the article
Nice article
