You are correct good sir.
I just want to start out by saying this was a nice article. Sure we get a lot of speculation posts/articles but this was well put together!
While I love what developers are doing with what they have I think it's time to look and move forward. PC gamers often throw in our face how dated the hardware is. That may be true but I am impressed with what developers have been able to do despite these supposed "limitations".
It makes me think of what the...
So what was Glen Schofield's quote in context? What was he addressing? From the quote Glen is talking about naming an engine. He is saying nothing about game play additions. He merely comments on frame rate.
I would assume the author has read too much into this. Unless there is another quote elsewhere that isn't included in the article. The one included doesn't make the author's case.
GTA doesn't work as a movie. The freedom and choices that the player makes is what makes the game. There are multiple ways to approach a mission. The way they unfold vary based on a players decision.
In a movie the viewer has no choice and offers no input. So you get an action movie with the GTA name. It will sell though because most people aren't discerning.
Well put. Out of all developers to make such a comment I found this amusing.
Now if they could improve the ped models a bit
You guys aren't really missing much on Alan Wake. It starts out strong but really falters out after being dragged through the DLC's. The main story is a cliff hanger. Had they been able to expand on it and wrap up the main part it would have been fine.
Waiting and then playing the DLC's felt lackluster especially considering how short the DLC's really are.
Overall it starts off as an engaging experience but fizzles out and leaves one disappoin...
That was tough to watch. What a mess that guy is.
Thanks for the link though. Further solidifies my opinion that Jamie needs an alternative career.
If I "imitated" something this hard in English class I would have failed for plagiarism.
I am glad you took the time to write down these gripes. I liked reading your point of view and think you had some good points.
When LA Noire came out a lot of people were ready to open their mouths and fellate this game simply because of the graphical innovation we saw on the faces. That and the R logo didn't hurt either.
I've been following this game since it's announcement and in my opinion it doesn't live up to expectations. You pointed out...
I typically type with my mouth closed.
If you have ever seen the movie Idiocracy then you will completely understand why this was approved as "news".
The title for this "article" makes the actual response lackluster.
Looks like volition was reading GTA: Next wishlists that fans make and then included everything they read.
This is almost too over the top for my tastes but I will admit I smiled a bit when I saw that tank portion. That was my style when GTA first came out for PC. I would race to the tank and destroy everything for hours. Something that future installments sorely lacked.
Though this might not be for me personally I can see that they have been listening to fan...
I think the biggest obstacle for Nintendo is timing. I don't know the exact specs but it sounds like this system is intended to compete with the existing systems. This creates a potential problem.
Systems can take a bit of time from day 1 as they build up their library. By the time Nintendo begins to get rolling I am thinking we will be hearing about the next Xbox/PS. The problem will be that while WiiU is geared towards our current systems it will seem (potentially) outd...
HA! Digital UV rays frying NPC's :D
Dont click on the article then.
If you were to play the DLC's you may have noticed you dont get calls for activities.
"hannah montanna generation" I like that.
If you stare at it long enough a picture of a schooner appears.
