They probably tested split screen at different framerates and resolution and it likely ran like crap. Halo 4 and Reach struggled in split screen. The games CPU heavy with physics and AI, plus the increased enemy counts during heroic and legendary.

The good remasters are fine... It's the lazy hd ports that aren't.

I didn't find the human ai to be good. The clicker AI was more consistent plus they each had different behaviors.

What is the point of this article ? ESRAM is for GPU related tasks not cpu related calculations.

I beat this game about a month ago. My main issue with it was the length and story. The game felt as if many of the latter chapters could of been shortened or simply removed. The game has excellent graphics with great lighting that added to sublime atmosphere. I also had a few issues with the games' technical aspect it runs at 30 fps, I don't understand why it wasn't 60 fps, the graphics are comparable to that of Metro Redux. Also on the PS4 version the framerate during cutscenes ...

I think people are getting tired of seeing lists of games. I don't see how all these games could apeal to one individual . You're likely listing many games you have no interest in .

On topic.
I personally had uncharted 2 as one of my games of the generation last gen. I personally liked Tomb Raider (2013) more than Uncharted 1 and 3. Both Uncharted 4 and Rise of The Tomb Raider look promising , but naughty dogs' upcoming game looks to be the more expan...

It would of been neat if they included Live and Reloaded uncensored and allowed you play its' game modes and the original with the redone graphics.

Halo 4 and Halo:Reach had framerate issues during split screen in both campaign and MP. They must of not been able to get the game to run at 60fps when split.

I haven't either. I think split screen was not implemented due to performance issues.

Conker's Bad Fur Day, Perfect Dark and Perfect Dark Zero are also rated M.

I found the first Uncharted to be a good but not great game. The combat had a lot of issues. The first game was basically a good template for the excellent sequels.

I firmly believe one of the major issues this studio faced was an inability to focus on one or two projects. They have shown numerous prototypes that got worked on for a while and then cancelled. Then again it is rumoured that Don Mattrick cut back on high budget 360 exclusives; thus leading to Rare working on Kinect games until 2013.

I wonder how this will effect the Conker's Big Reunion episodes (assuming more will be made).

The Canadian dollar is terrible. A standard XB1 is 399 here.

I personally would like this studio to make other games in addition to Halo. They are a big studio with a lot of veteran talent. I think 343i would be a good choice for a perfect dark reboot.

The levels look more intricate, thus giving you more freedom in how you approach enemies.

The price is simply too high for me personally. I also don't have any issue with the launch controller design. $150 bucks is almost three new games; I need that money for Halo 5 next month and Rise of Tomb Raider and Fallout 4 in November. Battlefront is also on my radar.

One thing I don't understand about this article is that he equates sales to visual quality. MGS always has a high playstation attach rate. I'm certain Konami did their best to get the game to run well on all consoles. The PS3 cell processor simply wasn't as good as the 360 hardware for handling this type of game. The real world performance of the two system is very similar , but the 360 is just more efficient.

10 bucks ? Since when was Mad Max a small budget downloadable only title lol. Forbes doesn't know anything about gaming or the industry.

I remember red faction 2 (released 2002) had a hybrid system with three 3 modules of health. Each module could regenerate unless it was lost and the only way to regain a module was to get a health pack. I think resistance used the same system.

I think regenerating health works better in intense action games where you can be killed quickly in sp or mp (Halo, Geears of War, Uncharted, COD etc). But non regenerating health can also work in games that have fast kill times that r...
