RPGs often lag behind other games when it comes to animation. The animation issues I'm seeing in ME: Andromeda are shocking. The character models look nice and well textured. However, the facial and some body animations are so poor, it breaks the visual flow of the game. I'm still optimistic, I have enjoyed games with technical issues as long as the gameplay (and/or story) is strong.
"id "committed to really listening to fans" for Quake Champions"
This kind of odd, considering, fans of Quake (and Doom), have been asking for an oldschool arena shooter. Instead of doing of this, iD decides to make a game with heroes. Maybe the heroes will be balanced. However, I can see heroes causing imbalance, especially as more of them are added.
Well if the ending I got for Mass Effect 3, is canon. The characters from the milk way galaxy, would have glowing green eyes. The canonical ending is likely the paragon destroy the reapers ending.
The devs confirmed custom games can be played without abilities and loadouts.
We have heard enough about these cam-girls.
The more dis-equal of starts you have in an FPS. The more difficult it will be to balance the game.
Well no other controller since the N64, has had only one centrally postioned analogue stick. The dual shock, proved that two analogue sticks, are needed for 3D-gaming.

I don't think so. The backlash over Halo 5's story, led to lead writier of the title (Brian Reed), exiting 343i. Also, 343i hasn't been actively promoting Locke (and/or Fireteam Osiris), in supporting external media. Additionally 343i is seeking a new narrative director. This makes me think Halo 6, will have a story more comparable to Halo 4 than 5. Halo 4 focused on character development , unlike 5, which was written by a bad comic book writer, and...
I think the point being made, is that Halo 6, should be a character pieace focusing on Master Chief.
Roadhog?
Lesbian, autistic, etc....,why would such character traits matter in a game that basically has no internal story?
Zoe Quin contributed absolutely nothing to the game industry.
Fortunately, console ports of Quake: Champions weren't ruled out by Bethesda. I just want iD to do the best they possibly can in the mp. I was thoroughly disappointed with Doom (2016) mp, and I have a gut feeling that Quake Champions will be much better than it. I'm not to fond of their being character abilities in the game. However, I'm certain, it was stated that there will be modes that play like classic Quake. I personally think loadouts, and abilities don't work to well...
Halo, has outlived many other shooters, including some of personal favorites. The franchise is on a decline, which is something that should be expected, since it's 15 years old. The Halo franchise peaked with Halo 3 in terms of sales. After Halo 3 (12- 13 million +), sales declined with Reach (9-10 million +), which has very comparable sales to Halo 4. Halo 5 is has likely sold less than both Halo 4 and Reach, however the franchise still sells well. Halo 5 sold 5 million + in three months...
Is this site, seriously gonna write articles based on statements from another sites interviews? We need James Cameron to raise the gaming journalism bar.
I think if Yooka-Laylee is successful, like last year's Ratchet & Clank. We will see more 3D Platformers and Action-Platformers in the years ahead. The Sly Cooper, Banjo and Kazooie, Ratchet& Clank and Conker are some of my favourite series. I would love to see more 3D platformers. Additionally, I want to see the industry, move away from relying heavily on massive budget AAA games.
The price of Ultra Street Fighter 2 is far too high. However, what is the manufacturing cost of Switch cartridges vs standard Blu-Ray? Are Nintendo licensing fees still high compared to Sony's and Microsoft's? I distinctly remember the N64 game prices being high due to usage of cartridges and high Nintendo licensing fees.
If the cloud based destruction works out well, I would love to see the tech used in a BatteTech game.
Hates xbox and Microsoft, yet he is often first to comment lol.
I think we will see a lot of mediocre to bad games due to self publishing. However, there will be a few jems very once in awhile.
Many of the RPGs that I've played, have had slow starts. I find RPGs tend to take a few hrs to get 'rolling'. However, if reviews for ME:A are so-so, and I'm not impressived with post launch gameplay and performance. I just won't buy the game at launch and wait till it drops in price.
