How dare you compare the ever improving, surprising, and delightful super Mario to the tired and stale Pokemon series.
I played dao to death and it took less than 40 hours so I don't understand the fuss. This game will be plenty long.
This actually sounds AWESOME. I was a huge fan of Patapon 1 and 2, and for some reason haven't been overly chomping at the bit for 3.. but now I will be.
"It was amazing how much the 3D added, and it felt like more than just a gimmick.....I’ve not been particularly fussed about 3D movies, I feel that the 3D in most instances just didn’t really add much. With gaming however, I can certainly see the advantages and the 3DS has most certainly convinced me of that."
Amen to that bro.
Freedom fighters is a true gem from last gen. Great game.
7.5, really?
And what if you could simply project a 1080p display, wirelessly, from a handheld to a TV screen? It's a certainly plausible feature that not many people consider.
Imagine using a handheld to play a game on your big screen TV. The handheld is merely a controller at this point, or maybe its screen holds extra info like maps or stats. Then you have to leave for whatever reason.. simply pause the game, put the handheld in standby mode and continue where you left off later on, wh...
@ Rush, gotta agree man.
Soon enough we'll be able to wirelessly project handhelds onto a TV while using the device as a controller and for secondary info on its screen(s).
Graphics and processing power can only take games so far I think before diminishing returns starts to apply. At that point its only a matter of handhelds catching up.
Onimusha was a fantastic game, I'd love to see it brought back.
Sorry dude I'm a droid supporter all the way, I hate apple and the iphone is totally an overpriced fadgasm, but it has a lot of great apps/games which as a Droid user I'd love to see come over.
Dunno if it's been said, but
WHOTHEFUCKCARES.
I'll be waiting for a 4G model. It just seems kinda lame that this phone is launching on Verizon's network without LTE capabilities.
He probably means completed game. Regardless, this article has nothing to do with NGP so why bring it up? The point is the 3DS is capable of supporting some very good looking games.
RB3 Keyboard and Pro Guitar in the list of deals, could be interesting.
How is that racist? Couldn't he be responding to the lulz-worthy title typo?
That's if you even care about scores... which I doubt many people are. I understand they might be using scores as a way to deter spamming but it's far from a being an effective remedy.
5 and a half hours, "gets really repetitive 2/3 of the way through", and a 5.5 replay score is what gets me the most.
A 5 hour game that is a blast from start to finish and makes you want to play it over and over is no problem from where I'm sitting.. Sin and Punishment 2 comes to mind.
I could tell by the demo this game would get repetitive. Why do they let you kick and leash so damn much? There should have been a stamina meter or something to limit how much of that you can do in the midst of a firefight. Its kinda ridiculous how damn easy it makes everything.
MGS(1,2,3,4, Peacewalker) all of them should be on the list - well 2 of them were on it, I think that's pretty sufficient
OBLIVION SHOULD BE TOP TEN - no
Dead Space - love the game but no
Demon Souls - It should be, but it's too much of a niche title
Arkham Asylum - love the game, but no
Final Fantasy (VII, VIII, X, XII) definitely not xiii - all in there. Too many of them imo.
CALL OF DUTY 4: MODERN WARFARE SHOULD BE TOP TEN -...
sounds like the game is very solid but hardcore ssf fans will complain about controls. Imo the score of this review is quite a contrast to what is written.
