I like Origin, it doesn't do the only thing I hate about Steam. That's require patches to be installed.
I have Steam (of course), Impulse, D2d(Comrade), Origin and Gamersgate games on my system. I think all of them are good and use each depending on the sales, lol
As I have said in the past, years ago. What Steam has done will me done by the profitable publishers. It is only common sense. EA has the finances and the scope to pull this off.
It blows my mind that they do this. X-com was a tactical strategy game so was Syndicate. Why change it to a FPS? Hell just make a FPS and call it something else...............
It's one of the biggest selling games out there for PC.EA wouldn’t make the expansions if they didn’t sell.
I bought the new MOH a month ago and I love it, I like the real multiplayer better than Black Ops. The bots in Black Ops and the Zombie mode is what sets it apart.
Wow, I never wanted to be someone else. But having the ability to fly or using the force would be cool as hell!
I'll be 57 and still playin!
It doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things, most fanboys will say otherwise.
Exclusives are very few and far between and the ones that are available do nothing to provide innovation or something different to the audience. Most games today is just recycled trash with better graphics. And I don't care which platform you choose!
Another game company down the tubes. I am surprised, it has been fewer than I expected.
Half-Life could be a series instead of a movie.
Sam & Dean Winchester has my vote. I watch this show religiously and I got to admit, Supernaturals would be a very good MMO or game! I am hoping that the Secret World will be Supernaturals type game............
My wife likes to game, just no time to game (2 boys and one husband gamer). But she did like Star Wars Galaxies, but most games she likes is Diner Dash and things like that.............
No, I am burnt out on FPS games. I play the ones I currently have, but unless something is just awesome, I am going back to playing RTS and RPGs.
Since Gamestop bought Impulse, I wonder if they will try the same thing? And I wonder if they can do the same thing to the games I had already bought from Impulse?
Crap, my wallet is about to die. Ah screw food, water and the wife can go nude!
Seriously Dirt 2 is an awesome game. Racing against my son and friends is a blast!
If this is game is good and this review about it. I am going to have high blood pressure and less sleep!
I like Activision and I like EA, I own more EA games, because they release more. But if the game is a quality experience I can give a crap less who makes it. I am starting to really dislike this DLC crap though, not a good thing in my hobby. Splits the community in my opinion.
FYI, PCs that are for school or bought by parents isn't for gaming. And if the home has a computer the kid isn't going to get a computer, will get a PS3 or a Xbox, maybe a Wii.
Trust me, i'm a parent!
This discussion is PC gamers being assholes. The topic of the article is PC gaming.
And at what point before this, did I jerk your chain.......
Ok guys I got to say this. You guys are bashing PC gamers and stereotyping them. While on a PC typing in a PC article.
When I spend $59.99 for a game the rest of the services should be free. Map packs separate the community and should be free and anti-cheating should be built in and free.
Now if Activision wants to give me the game and I pay a monthly fee and they continually update the game like a MMO, go for it!
