I expected the game to get bad review because it is not PC (Politically correct). The pussification of the American male, haha!
Edit: But honest reviews are just that and no one needs to be silenced for being so!
I like that Tera is going a different direction. If gamers have fun and the company is profitable then the game will be a success.
I said this would happen years ago, no surprise. I still bet that all developers do some kind of move like this.
Think about this:
When Steam sells a EA game, Steam gets a cut. When EA sells a game, no one gets a cut.
When you see a major player doing a move like this, more will follow. Because in the end they can give a rat's ass about the game or gamer, all they care about is that shareholder!
Game isn't even out yet and we hear BS like this. WoW clone? What it being a MMO made it a WoW clone, there were MMO before WoW!
I think platform make a difference. Had the game sucked, no matter what the price, I would have been pissed. It’s not only about money and it is with time. I am a PC only gamer, no consoles. However my nephew is the exact opposite. He told me he hated DA on the Xbox and he was shocked that I loved it so. He played the game on the PC and he was shocked.
I loved both of them, great story and good tactical strategy. I don't know which platform you played it on but I played on a PC and loved it.
I beat both Dragon Age games and I have to say I liked them both. After getting DA2 for $20.00 and playing it to the end, I have yet to understand the whining about the game. The only difference between D2 and DA2:
You don't get to pick a different race: That was only skin deep in DA.
Different environments: I don't care I done get to see the swamp if it is not in the story!

I don’t know. I don’t like being nickel and dimed to death. But I look at it this way:
I buy a FPS for $50.00 and it is a damn good one and the DLC is another $20.
I buy a FPS and it is ok, I spend $50.00 and I beat it. The next best FPS that comes out I spend another $50.00, on and on!
And right now I have a huge collection of FPS and come back to BFBC2 every time!
What is the point of doing it? I could have hacked Waterways back in the 80’s , but I like my asshole the size it is! They are going to get caught, they all do!

I just don’t understand it. I played the original X-Coms and as a tactical RPG strategy game, why change the formula?
And if you are going to change the genre of the game, why not call it something else?

If the critics say that the movie sucks, I go watch it, cause I like it. If they say it will win awards, I avoid it like the plague!

Ok, first I heard of it, nice. I will keep this on the radar.
Lag effects all platforms. The test done by MS was lag free I am sure, or it wouldn't have been a fair test. The only reason the PC gamers won was because of the mouse and keyboard not skill.
This is one of the few games that I want to buy at release. But knowing they are going to add DLC and/or expansions, makes me want to wait. Decisions!
