Engines do matter, but only to developers. And developers are the ones who use the engines capabilities to the best of their ability; they are the ones who create the magic.
Or in layman’s terms, the engine is the canvas and the developer the artist.
Engine Smengine, make a good game and I'll play it, careless what engine runs it.
This is one of the very few games that I will play every day. British tanks will be a great addition to a very good game.
Looks interesting and since I bought 80% of their games, free is awesome...........
I bought it and I like it.
I didn't know it needed saving!
You have two choices: Buy it or you don’t buy it.
Your voice can only be heard by the money you spend.
Considering the price a awesome game!
I am missing out on a great game for my cause? WTF are you, Dionne Warwick personal psychic friend?
D2 was a long time ago and at least you could play it solo or LAN. I still have my copy in the attic and I can reinstall if I like and play it today.
You are renting a game that they can shut off at anytime. Granted it is Blizzard, but the other thousand companies that might go this route are not. If your internet goes down, you’re SOL.

I am one of the most secure people out there. I got an WoW account banned now. I havent been on in over a year.......
I have no sympathy for Activision: You always treat your talent with respect and don't try to bend them over!
Glad they sold so much, but I am not buying it. We gamers are going down a very slippery slope. The always online connection is going to to be highly looked at by other developers with the success of Diablo 3. But to be honest we were screwed either way. If it was a success then the always online helped fight piracy. If the game tanked then it was the pirates fault.
I was pissed when Steam done the DRM measure if the account moves. But now I am glad they did since my account is close to 4k.
Pre-Ordered this game yesterday, excited like a child at Christmas!
I have been on this site for years. The PC vs Console argument is like beating a 100 year old dead horse.
But I will state this for the fan boys on either side. PC has its pros and cons and so does the consoles.
But if the argument is going to only focus on games available for a specific platform, then the PC wins, period. You can like it or hate it, maybe masturbate it, but it is pure fact that the PC has way more games than all consoles ever made, combined! <...
Actually I think Metacritic has valuable information.
Diablo might have a ton of pissed off people saying nay things about a game, but that is exactly what I want to see before I drop $60.00 on a game. And most of the stories are pointing at D3, the other thousand reviews are not that bad.
There are plenty of ways to limit piracy. When PC gaming was in its infancy we had to turn to page 30, look at paragraph 3 for word 10, every time we played the game (depending on the game).
Today the always online is going in the opposite direction. There has been plenty of time for developers to get their shit together on the pirating issue. Blizzard is a power house in itself, not including Activision behind them. There are plenty of ways to make sure that their software i...
If Valve makes a game I will buy it out of faith. But I pull for any company that puts out a great product, but I rarely buy a game out of blind faith.
Very good read, thanks!
I wonder what the price of the game will be when the issues get fixes?
