Smart ruling, needed to happen along time ago. I think that the end user's right have been trampled. Now since this has passed, there needs to be some safe guards for the developer/publisher.
I gave it the same score on MMORPG.com. I think it is worth $14.99 a month.
You don't know what you are talking about. The same exact argument was made when PC was going through the transition. And I really like to know what brick and morter stores you can find 25% to 50% cheaper at release.
Here is mine.

I can find games from 25-50% cheaper digitally at release. When the consoles go digital the same will happen!
This should have happened years ago and needs to happen here in the USA.
I am close to beating this one. If I knew how good it was I would have bought it a long time ago at release, with DLC.
Thank god for Steam and the deals!
Same, I go for story.
It is a smart business decision. Your main group of support bought the Elite package. The cheap asses are the ones holding out, this deal is nothing but bait.
I would have loved to create my own character and weapon set in Dead Island. Mod ability would be nice too.
It depends. I do want realistic gameplay when the game is realistic (COD, BF3,etc). However if the game story is based on incredible soldiers then I could go with that being unrealistic. So for me, depends on the story.
I disagree. People who see Call of Duty put quality to that name. Now I am a Battlefield fan and a COD fan. I think both have their pros and cons. But I know when I see Call of Duty I know I am in for a good time and a good multiplayer experience. If they Put Call of Duty NYPD Blue, I’d buy it…………
Will sales wax and wane, of course.
You beat me to it!
If they keep it the same, yes dead. However if they move their time line or theater, then it can still build up steam.
Games getting easier equals games beaten quickly, so gamers can buy more games.
RTS, TBS, Flight Sim, I would prefer a Skyrim type game, but a Borderlands type would work.
I am so getting this!
Wow I only said this years ago and I wasn't the only one.
Thanks. I have no clue about how GW2 has been running. I usually wait on MMOs as a general rule. Vanguard taught me that lesson.
I don’t forsee a Diablo fiasco, but I am going to wait. In a month, if everything is running great, I shall purchase.
I like The Secret World, one of the hardest MMOs out there and I crave more. Some of the most interesting puzzles I have ever played and some of the most intense PvP. I'll pay for it......
