I tripped on some acid while playing Zelda on the NES, one of my best times in gaming. I think the author was tripping some acid when he wrote the article.
I play PC games because of these things:
Strategy games
Keyboard and Mouse
Guild Wars 2 (my last MMORPG)
World of Tanks
And since I can play 95% of any game that is on a console on my PC, I’ll stick with the PC.
I own some of their games. But it was classy to offer their employees some type of severance and continue their insurance. Way to think ahead. They all will find jobs……
I didn’t lose all, but did lose some or to put it another way. I do not have those games available to download from Gamefly. I do have the ability to Torrent those games and use the legit keys, if I wanted. I made the mistake of buying a game on Gamer’s Gate that I had on Gamefly (Battlestation Pacific). I used the key code I have from Gamefly on the game from Gamer’sgate. Didn’t work……………
So why buy Windows 8?
The problem that Gabe forsees and I believe is correct is a future closed OS.
I think this store front thing will create a major headache for MS, abusing Monopoly powers. Which is the same thing that happened between Internet Explorer and web browser companies.

What would happen if EA did take over? I felt butt hurt when Gamefly bought Direct 2 drive. I still haven't gotten all my games back and I only had about 30. I have over 200+ games on Steam.

You have good games and you have bad games. Graphics do play a part in the game, but only to a certain extent. If I were you guys. I wouldn’t worry about the next gen that much. It is going to come and it will come with a whimper.

I like COD, played the first one, played the last. I usually catch the games on deals so, I can't complain about price.
Instead of complaining about games, don't buy them. What I do.
I prefer to watch a movie and play my games with no sex, unless it is a story driven act. If I want to watch sex I'd watch a porn sites free stuff. Anything other than that, I have a wife.
From what I have read (not experienced), SSD for OS and Hybrid for gaming. I bought a WD 1TB 64cache HD last year and until it blows up, not buying anything!

I agree. I have always stated here for years that if a console had mouse and keyboard, plus my strategy games. I’d be on a console. I’d also like to add Guild Wars 2 also!
