I should be a study case! I have played console/computer games since the 2600 and the C-64. I have never killed anyone, I wanted to kill a lot of people (mostly drivers), but as of yet, never have. Might be that thing called prison, my asshole and freedom!

I will not buy any game from any company that has an always online component, DRM or not. After buying a Need for Speed game and the servers were already shutdown and I couldn’t play LAN, no thanks! I only want a optional online component. Origin is a good enough DRM, which I have plenty of games on already.
You console guys need to wake up and smell the ashes. Tablets will do to consoles what consoles did to PC. Like I have stated and stated again, consoles and PCs days are numbered. I give consoles one more generation and tablets will have beaten them in hardware. PC’s Moore’s Law will have hit and it will be a matter of time. This is pure evolution and following the money!
Steambox is only going to be a ITX pc with the ability to play Steam games on a standard setting. I am sure that Valve will communicate with developers that their games will need to run at a bare minimum of X. The developers wanting to sell more of their product will volunteer to make this happen.
MS was about to bend over Valve and everyone else. If MS didn’t throw the first punch, Valve would be happy where they were. This is called Blowback!
