It was heavily hinted, so this comes as no surprise. That said, I loved Clone Wars, but it's a rather stale franchise to be attaching to the initial sale. I suppose that's the point though...how many would buy a Clone Wars playset when Rebels is the currently relevant offering on Disney?
Either way, SOLD! I'm officially out of the Skylanders race. When a company licenses amazing franchises like Marvel and Star Wars, let alone the iconic Disney attachment, it's...
The lighting has changed? One of those shots is two completely different times of the day, of course it has changed.
Uhhh...you don't leave stuff like that in your car.
This leaves me incredibly bitter. Konami is responsible for one of the franchises that got me into gaming, Castlevania. They've treated that franchise relatively poorly and my faith in them has continue to dwindle.
I don't claim to understand the politics behind Kojima's departure...frankly, I don't care, but I do know it all seems very juvenile...removing his name from the projects he's created, the websites, the product, and now this?
I ...
Technically the story is that we're 17 months in the each product lifecycle and they're still having a difficult time of it.
I'll give it to them in some regards. Getting Square-Enix to go timed-exclusive on a franchise that is, historically, a top performer on PlayStation platforms...Tomb Raider...that was a colossal score on their part. Will it make a difference? Hard to tell, but I'm certainly waiting on the PS4 version to hit so I can have them both on the...
Buy GTA...yeah, no, Rockstar wouldn't sell, that goes against everything they stand for. Buy CoD? No, Activision wouldn't sell its bread & butter franchises. Not even sure what DS IP is...Demon's Souls, Dark Souls? If that's the case, it's a From Software IP and they're more likely to sell to Sony consider the series was born, and returns exclusively in various iterations (Demon's Souls and Bloodborne).
I do agree, however, that the money could...
I own an XBO and I've been having an increasingly difficult time justifying buying anything for it...let alone turning it on. I preordered State of Decay yesterday, but I'm still upset it doesn't feature an online co-op mode. The solitude of the game is incredibly frustrating.
I'd like to be optimistic that there's something on the horizon for me, but outside of SoD and Halo...I'm really not seeing anything I couldn't buy on PS4 and enjoy there, li...
Probably not. D3.0's focus has been heavily rumored by John Vignocchi as Star Wars...

I doubt there's much room left for any other big properties outside of Toy Box offerings like the recent leak detailed.
I understand that, but it's essentially a re-shelled version of the online game...with bots. I wouldn't say that's a sufficient solution to people looking for a campaign. The game is designed as a multiplayer game, and there really is no substitution to having a live player, being able to communicate and coordinate strategies. Bots don't provide that experience.
I chose my words in haste and should have said "multiplayer" as opposed to "online&q...
I can kind of see the point. I'm primarily a single-player gamer, with some exceptions. That said, this is Star Wars and many hold this with such intimate regard...it's a part of their youth, it's cherished. The desire to experience anything within the franchise in as many ways as possible is certainly justifiable, though perhaps not as practical as one would think.
I can also agree that $60 for a game that only supports online functionality may be a bit difficult...
The fact that it was an ancillary build upon its former console, especially in name, should have been telling. It's sort of like the New 3DS...an improvement, but a marginal one at best.
I'd really love to see Nintendo produce something with a bit more staying power, something third party developers put just as much focus into as they do with the PS4/XBO. Getting these trimmed versions of games, or uniquely tacked-on features, is really harming how the company is perc...
I really am baffled by how subjectivity drives the reality of the situation. So you don't like some of the exclusives, and suddenly you agree with an article steeped in the same reality that some of those exclusives didn't fall in line with your tastes?
I hate citing Wiki for crap like this, but let's just look at the numbers...

So we, as a family, bought into Skylanders at the outset...back when Spyro was actually the tagline. While the game has certainly been improved both functionally and technically, it's hard to stand against the licensing power of Disney, alongside their properties such as Marvel and, inevitably, Star Wars.
LEGO would seem the final nail in the coffin. This will stand tall and successfully among the toy/game line...and unless Skylanders can pull out all the stops to complet...
They're actually pretty fun. A little bit Dynasty Warriors in repetition, but the animation is fantastic, and the gameplay fast & furious.
Lemmings!
I absolutely do NOT understand this loyalty to abandon a game, simply because Konami has severed its relationship with Kojima.
It's still his game, and it's still his blood/sweat/tears that's been put into this. Cancelling your pre-order simply on a technicality is asinine.
This is one of those games that I had picked up with intent to play, but life happened and it still remains sealed in my collection. I'm considering picking this up to avoid the hassle of digging out the N64 from my storage.
I'd love to see some platform exclusive crossovers to something like Disney Infinity. Dang, a Jak & Daxter playset be a thing of dreams!
There are plenty more games outside of the "remastered" list to really get hung up on. I mean, at the end of the day, if you don't like that practice...don't support it. There is, however, a market for it. Plenty of folks missed out on great experiences from the previous generation, and plenty of these titles are getting sequels so I can understand how it might be desirable to get the fanbase up to speed, so to speak.
Pocky & Rocky! WOOOOOOOOO!
Idiots are people who misuse feminism as a derogatory attachment.
Feminism isn't what she displays here, nor is it something you should so flagrantly attach any time you want to make someone, especially a woman, seem entitled and in the wrong.
The only things you can fault her for are harassing Markus Persson, and asking for a handout.
