This is to be expected as visually there won't be any difference. I'm pretty sure the last couple months they are trying to iron out the performance more than anything. Which it seems they did based on this article.
If you shoot, nothing happens.
Soldier is a good beginner class.
Yes there is melee, you hit them with the butt of the gun. There's even some upgrades to get higher melee damage.
This was about the PC version.
But yes there's a lot of positive reviews and impressions for the PS3 version too.
It goes to show that MMOs CAN be successful on consoles if it is done right.
Pretty much, don't pull a Square Enix.
Hopefully it's 25 hours of awesomeness
"Have fun swapping discs"
Irony. Exclusively, in the mind of a 360 fanboy.
It's 12GB for the PSN version.
Yup, a "true gamer" is someone who is playing games right now, not on the internet forums in pissing contests
Is this a flop in terms of game play or sales?
Cause FFXIII should have been in that list.
In this day and age of terrible MMOs, it's refreshing to have a good one for once. I'm not an MMO person at all, but I'm really contemplating on getting this game for the PC. I just don't know if I'm willing to keep paying monthly though.
The list was legitimate, but it seems to be focused on call of duty MW2. So it should have been "8 reasons I hate call of duty online" not "online gamers."
LOL
Anybody impressed with how lag free it is with the Move? I sure am. Killzone 2 had input lag, but with Killzone 3 it appears to be non-existent. Good job Guerrilla Games!
Honestly, any of these comparisons are pointless and it won't affect how much PS3 owners will enjoy this game.
"push a button and watch them fight while you do nothing" combat "
That's actually why I could never get into world of warcraft. It feels pretty lame.
I got it for $3.00 off the steam sale and even I regret that.
I could appreciate that it aims to be realistic, but it got to the point of dying 15 times over and over and running over and over and over got pretty frustrating and tiring.
It's a good realistic shooter with some clunky design choices.
Yup I highly agree. These hackers don't know that the biggest damage is done to the legitimate consumers like us who buy games (regardless of the platform)
Well that's sort of expected now.
Every console since the dreamcast is hacked and pirated. Even the "unhackable PS3" has finally been hacked.
So honestly who's to blame? The stupid hackers who keep saying "but but but we only do it for homebrew!!!" when we really know a lot of it is used for Pirating games.
I don't get why this idiot thinks a Sarah Palin signed 360 is worth $1 million.
It depends what resolution the screen is going to be. I'm guessing if it's something like 480p, it doesn't need as much power as a cell processor. Think about it, games like God of War Ghost of Sparta on the current PSP is running off a measly 333mhz. If the PSP2 is around 1ghz (which is now common for mobile platforms) or even possibly run a dual core 1ghz like the Nvidia Tegra 2, then it's more than possible they can reach PS3 graphics at a lower resolution.
Shouldn't it be called Galaxy of Starcraft or Universe of Starcraft or whatever the heck.
