Please stop imagining things. I love my PS3 exclusive games as much as the next, but to compared to powerful PC hardware the PC will always come out on top. And why in the world did your brother spend $1900 and end up with a GTX 470? I'm at around $1100 on my build and have a GTX580, 1TB HDD, 965BE, Aftermarket HS, 6GB DDR3, Case, OS etc. etc. He got ripped off.
And to compare PC games to consoles you have to compare apples to apples.

You guys have to understand the tech behind the integrated Chip to understand.
If you look at the benchmarks, an i7-2600k can run some of today's modern games in medium settings at around 30-45fps. (IE: Starcraft II) WITHOUT a dedicated GPU.
So basically he's saying that it's basically around the same power as the consoles and you can make games for this new platform and be able to reach a wider audience.

What people fail to realize is that it's not the "shooting" mechanics or even the RPG elements that make Mass Effect so great, it's the overall universe and immersive world that they created is what makes the game so compelling. It's also how they tie in a lot of things from the first Mass Effect as far as story goes.
So to judge ME2 based on the demo alone is wrong.
I think it's not just graphics, but polished graphics is what can make a good game a great one.
Someone used Fallout an an example as a game with ok graphics but good gameplay, but can anyone imagine how great that game could have been with polished graphics, no bugs, and everything working as it's supposed to?
So if we look at the top games of the industry, they all have one thing in common, polish! Uncharted 2, Super Mario Galaxy, Mass Effect 2, etc...
Don't go jumping the gun saying AMD and Intel has stiff competition. Yet.
We have to see how it actually performs on an actual platform. Not til we see benchmarks and things like that.
If it succeeds in the performance past AMD or even past Intel, there's still pricing to be concerned as well as platform support. What motherboards is going to support it, and if it's only going to work with Windows 8, who's going to upgrade their computer just ...

Meh, honestly this can be said about most PC games nowadays. I wish none of them are console ports.
Oh well, we can only dream for a PC game made from the ground up to utilize powerful hardware.
If it is a console port, let's just hope the game comes out amazing already so that the PC version will still run better in higher resolutions.

It's not just made for the iPhone, it's also available on the Android which runs 100% smooth on my EVO 4G.
My point is that this game hardly requires any type of "coding" to even be considered a poor port. It's going to run absolutely fine on the PS3 regardless, the graphics are so lite it's going to run on any damn hardware just fine.
I just hate how "Best" is trolling.
