Actually it is designed to be scalable regardless of the hardware.
However I do hate that approach. I wish they just focus on making a new engine that is only possible on better hardware.
Exactly.
They could put GDDR5 and it wouldn't matter. The GPU is the real bottleneck.
"There’s no denying that on paper the PS4 is the more powerful console but it will most probably be years before that advantage is fully realized"
Except, that advantage has already been realized and it's only launch.
You know I think it's because the advantage the 360 had over the PS3, it's a giant hard pill for them to swallow how much more powerful the PS4 is over the Xbone, on paper or not.
And honestly the PS3 vs th...
4GB was the sweet spot for awhile.
But now 8GB is the new 4GB.
Good thing I have 16 so I don't have to worry about stupid limitations like this for awhile.
Let's hope this is true.
UNLESS.
The PS4 development is causing them a headache because it's too easy to develop for and doesn't match their vision.
They are now starting development of the PS5.
2020 PS5 version confirmed.
Looks good but I'm with everyone here, sad it's not on PS4 instead.
I personally like FXAA, but what's TMAA?
Oh my god that website's graphs is discombobulating
Of course it doesn't matter, because the Xbox is the inferior console this 'round about.
If the PS4 version was 720p and the Xbox was 1080p, we'll hear it for the next 8 years how it really really matters for multiplat games.
Whatever Naughty Dog.
We're already in awe in your PS4 game and we haven't even seen it or heard anything about it.
It's that goooooooooooddddd......
I got bored after AC2. But for some reason AC4 is looking more promising.
Orrrrrrr if someone wants to watch TV, you can comfortably say "Ok my loving wife and children, you may use the television." *turns on Vita, kicks back on couch*
Yeahhhhhh........
The toilet is a plus too.
Holy balls me too seeing as how I got WiFi at work.
Damn it looks like I'm getting the PS4 version afterall.
"A lower resolution generally means that there can be more quality per pixel. With a high quality scaler and anti-aliasing and render resolutions such as 720p or '900p', some games look better with more GPU processing going to each pixel than to the number of pixels; others look better at 1080p with less GPU processing per pixel."
Here's the problem with that statement. While that may be true for the X1 itself, the same quality, anti-aliasing, processing...
Yup
Candy Crush: Infinite Hours
I kid I kid.
I am going to get KZ as well
It's been the norm since last generation, no surprises here.
I'm not a girl and I love me some Nutella.
^Yes you can upscale your privacy, it's basically the same thing.
Pay per minute, so that means a majority of consumers will only use that one minute.
Don't know what it is.
It's actually very detailed. But there's that weird flat texture look to everything which makes it look last gen.
