"They were able to pack all that power into a smaller form factor compared to PS5."
The problem is, that doesn't mean it's quieter or runs better because nobody knows yet how they both perform. So you can't make that judgement yet until it's released.
I'm with the line of folks saying it's a boring design. The Corsair One even looks more unique.
Finally watched the trailer in higher quality 4K, and the level of detail is crazy. We've finally reached the point where it's hard to tell what's pre-rendered vs real time. Amazing work from Insomniac
You are free to have your opinion, but you are not free from the consequences of your opinion. A dictatorship? Hitler had his opinion, and looked what happened there.
Show actual gameplay-gameplay of the games. Not an edited cut of maybe "expected" probably maybe something like gameplay trailer.
This is awesome, I hope it comes to the PC. I've been enjoying the crazy heck out of the show 19 but I always imagined how amazing it would be to play on my PC instead with maxed out settings
People can say what they want about the games, love it or hate it. But you have to respect this man's direction with the technology driving those games, eeking out every last ounce on the hardware. This is exciting timing as hopefully it means more PS5 games will be amazing.
With every game there are probably some settings you can turn down with very minimal visual impact for good performance gains. Waiting on the optimization guides
^This. A 1TB Samsung SSD EVO is only $130. I have one for my PS4 (even though it's not a massive improvement in speed) That's good for a lot of games. On my PC I have the 2TB model for purely as a games drive.
Save even more by just going with a 3700X. Put the savings into a better GPU. = Solid gaming/production rig for years
Really enjoyed Sunset Overdrive on the PS4. Oh wait.
I think that's when it dawned on them, they won't have any success on Xbox anyway.
This isn't a regular HDMI Cable, it actually smooths out jaggies and provides real post process anti-aliasing. It just so happens it works great for the switch.
With that said, it's still not worth $100. This should have been like $50 at most.
A business isn't ran on how much money you make, how many consoles you sell, how much software is sold, and never how much profit you make. -said no executive ever
It's also dependent on what frame rates, and resolution. 4K60, probably almost doesn't matter what CPU you have as long as it's somewhat modern. 1080P60, probably still ok too. But driving a 144-165hz monitor, the GPU could be bottlenecked. And then the last variable will be what games.
In my personal opinion, I wouldn't pair a 2080 or 2080ti without at least an i5-8600K.
What CPU do you have?
DSOGaming, time to upgrade that CPU though. "i7 4930K (overclocked at 4.2Ghz) with 16GB of DDR3 RAM at 2133Mhz"
Not that it's a bad CPU. But in some scenarios it's going to not let that 2080Ti breathe it's full potential.
and ME2 was the series high point. Definitely was one of the best games of its generation.
It's a bit cliche to say, but it's my personal best game of this generation. I know I know, there are a bunch of great games that have come out. But none that hooked me the way this did. Re-inventing the series in the best possible way. I seriously can't wait for the next one.
My god. Agreed. Agreed. Agreed.
*continues to play single player action/adventure games*
Why is it always one or the other with these people? It's either Xbox or Playstation. Multiplayer or no Multiplayer.
Like, is it not humanly possible for these people to just enjoy two different things?
I ended up finding out I was an idiot, and didn't realize to take off the other side of the panel. Now my PS4 Pro is running a lot quieter and cooler!
FF8, and FFXIII were much worse.
