Uncharted 4 and The Last of Us Part 2 are two of my favourite games from them, not including the Jak series. I couldn't be more excited to see where they go next. I love their focus on characters. as far as pure gameplay goes, mechanically those 2 games were great evolutions from their predecessors.
I didn't finish it at the time simply because of not having a suspend feature, and being forced to rest mode my system. And not being able to play anything else unless I died. i fully intend to finish it now that they patched it.
I ended up double dipping with Kena, I'll wait for the physical with this game. It'll be worth it!
Only going to be an issue when you’re loading into the game and or fast travelling… depending on the player the difference is moot.
Genuinely believe that's a poor excuse. The game was announced in 2012 and the announcement trailer was shown in Jan of 2013 nearly a whole year before the start of the previous generation. They were too ambitious and over promised. Realistically they should have cancelled the previous gen versions if they knew they couldn't get them to run correctly due to the limitations of the hardware, but they still released it in that state. Those worlds were better established and felt more lived in than a majority of open world games. they did a great job of making the world feel vast and expansive whilst also keeping the game focused.
Considering this game wouldn’t even be happening if Insomniac didn’t take the initiative to pitch the idea, I think it’s understandable.
In a lot of cases it’s just developers finally being able to make the characters they’ve wanted to make. Assassin’s creed is a great example. The writers have wanted a female main character for multiple games, each time they were shot down and forced to make sure that you could also play as a male.

Business practices aside. Nintendo franchises are ridiculously fun to play and there’s a great variety between all of their primary Franchises. From Metroid, Zelda, Mario, Fire Emblem, and even Smash Bros are all great examples of that. They have something for everyone.

The Ronin and Samurai outfits are easily some of the best. Even after unlocking the rest of their attire. The Assassin and Hunter ones are cool but they do have better endgame sets in their Arsenal.
Evolution Studios, with Motorstorm and Driveclub was a studio I loved. But Driveclubs launch was abysmal. It’s also why this statement is important. It was rushed to meet a deadline that Evolution just couldn’t make and that destroyed the game at launch and resulted in the studio being shut down.
