People that voted the orange man in are even worse.
Definitely isn’t meh. It’s a solid 8-9/10 imo. Has fantastic bosses and fun combat. The first and final few chapters have solid pacing. But the middle, specifically chapter 3 drags. It focuses too much on the basic enemies and the fun bosses are few and far between in comparison making it feel like a slog. As a whole a really fun experience and a great way to experience “Journey to the west”.
People are already forgetting what sequels are like. The game is exactly what it was expected to be. Games don’t have to reinvent themselves with every sequel, they can improve and fine tune the already existing experience and still be a worthy sequel.
Are we forgetting that in this original vision you couldn’t share physical copies once they’d been “redeemed”? Sure the game is still a download now, and the data isn’t on the disc. But I can still give the disc to someone else and they can play the game as if they own it. So no, they definitely backtracked due to the backlash.
Goddamn, all you do is complain. Learn to enjoy things.
It’s crazy how the fumbled the latter half of the 360 era, as soon as the Kinect was introduced and they doubled down on it chasing that Wii crowd instead of focusing on what made them a success in the 6th generation is what lead to their current predicament. Sony had a crazy uphill battle and they buckled down and focused on games. That focus lead to the PS4 being the beast it was. But the lack of competition is making this gen feel lacking in comparison.
This falls in with Phils terrible management. I agree there should be a good balance of freedom for the developer but actual management by the publisher. MS at this point has cancelled more games that I've been excited for than actually released. It'll be hard for me to get excited for any of their other showcases for their first party content because how much of that is going to be canned before the games see the light of day?
May he continue making whatever he wants to. Death Stranding has one of my favourite stories in recent games and its gameplay loop was honestly one of the most therapeutic I’ve played. Not saying it’s for everyone but developers should make stuff they’re passionate about not games to please other people.
The only game where based on the title I couldn’t tell if they were talking about a bug or a feature lol.
With the recent trend of fighting games, I hope there’s an abundance of single player content. I’ll be playing it competitively mostly but with the Marvel IP there’ll be a lot of more casual fighting game players coming in, and the single player content will go a long way in maintaining their interest.
I thought this was common knowledge. Resident Evil Revolutionised over the shoulder aiming in 3rd person shooters/action games
Chrono Trigger still has some of the best turnbased combat in a JRPG to this day imo. Still gotta play Lost Odyssey but I've heard great things
Expedition 33 is fantastic, but the only thing this goes to show that people are too obsessed Final Fantasy as a franchise being turn based. When in fact over the last decade we’ve had multiple turn based successes that have shown that we can get that fix from anywhere. Unless you only play Final Fantasy games, then it’s just on you missing out on some brilliant turn based games.
Look I’m not defending GameStop here, but they don’t take consoles without a complete setup that they can sell as-is. The reason he owed is probably due to the fact that they would be charging him to replace the HDMI, the DualShock, and the charging cable based on their selling price in store. And the total amounted to a $5 difference. If dude came in with a tradeable system then he would have still been ripped off in terms of value. But click bait titles work I guess.
If there’s a physical release I’ll jump on it, not too fussed about the MP happy to have an excuse to go through the original trilogy.
Agreed, but I still loved it as a first time experience, I just hope it gets a physical release. Still super disappointed that Hi-fi Rush is digital only.
What do you mean excuse..? Trumps dumbass tariffs are directly responsible for this, the increase in price for them to import the system here is obviously going to be put on the customer. Why would any business that suddenly had to pay more to be able to sell something not raise the prices?
That’s not hard when you buy a majority of the industry. Anyway even in the beloved PS4 era Sony only released 2-3 first party games a year. They’ve been consistent with that over the last decade.
Damn, do you even like video games? God forbid developers use Sony’s platform to market their games in such a competitive market.
New Onimusha
Shinobi
Tides of Annihilation
Saros (Housemarque always deliver)
Lost Soul Aside
The Midnight Walk
All look great, who cares if it’s 3rd party, the whole point is to show what games you’ll be able to play on PlayStation soon…
Sounds like a problem for people who can’t temper their own expectations. I’m just expecting more Hollow Knight goodness. No more, no less.
