Live service hasn’t really interrupted anything though, the big single player developers have just been cooking. We still have no idea what Naughty Dog or Sucker Punch are doing. And over the last 3 years, we got Horizon, God of War and Spider-man/Ratchet. And we got Astrobot today. Like their single player is still strong the difference is on PS4 these were new titles and this gen they’re sequels that haven’t had the same impact. If Naughty Dog are working on something new it has me excited!...

Highly recommend the Pillar Stance. Once you charge up two focus points, every hit staggers him, and also has a chance to knock him down. Also has evasive properties. Made the fight a cake walk.
They talk multiple times about finding an alternate solution, but it’s literally the final boss that forces their hands and says it’s too late and refuses to find those solutions. WoL is backed into a corner at that point. Definitely not the villain and the fact that existing lives are at risk definitely makes Sphene more of the Emet Selch counter part in this story as opposed to WoL who’s still as justified in this dilemma.
Enjoyed playing the game but I just do not like actively groan at MCU style humour.
Helldivers 2 is quickly getting a reputation for most fragile player base.
Old Hunters is still my favourite From DLC. Blood & Wine also felt more significant to me for half the price. Phantom Liberty was more impactful as a story. Shadow was fun, but it was just more Elden Ring with the exploration toned down and $40. This is just my personal opinion ofcourse, and I’ve also been kinda burnt out by Souls Likes since Dark Souls 3, especially after how refreshing Sekiro and Bloodborne were.
And GTA + Fallout dlc too. At that point for all we knew it was indefinite.
Damn imagine having more than 1 game in a similar setting. Could never be me.
This rumour comes around everytime a new Zelda game is in the works.

I keep hearing “this is the game that’s needed admist all these games with generic bad practices” everytime a good single player game comes out… when are people going to realise that we consistently get fantastic games. Hell Nintendo has been championing these sort of games. Like this fear mongering needs to stop. The only issue we need to deal with is building a healthy culture around game development.
