1.1m in one week is pretty awesome. There are lots of PS3 exclusives to play this year, let alone this holiday season. Not everyone can buy everything there is.
So my guess is people will continue to buy Uncharted 3 and its sales will continue to remain quite strong over time.

It depends on which Assassin's Creed you're talking about. The first one wasn't good. Too repetitive. Anything after the first one was good.
Agreed. No way the few hours of early access are worth more than even $800 of the game, heck, not even $500. But if people are willing to spend this amount of money for such a pathetic reason/cause, then it's just sad and dumb.

Under no circumstances can Modern Warfare 3 be worth $1,725 or any other video game for that matter of fact. What makes this even more ridiculous is it's just 4 stinkin' days!
I would've understood if this was for something rare and hard to find (like a brand new backwards compatible launch PS3 under $500). But this is only for a freaking 96 hour headstart?

I'm sorry but honestly MW3 looks a lot more like MW2. I don't see any graphical improvements or changes in engine.
AMD was okay and safe during the Athlon 64 era days as these processors were king of the hill in terms of performance back then.
But Intel went ahead and came up with the Core line and just left AMD in the dust...they've never been able to catch up ever since.

They did a terrific job. So terrific I had to replay the game once more and will in the future when I'm trophy hunting (soon).
This is just another example that you can have an awesome game without the need for a multiplayer component.
StanLee is pretty much correct. The same thing happened in Bad Company 2. Spotting makes all the difference. If you think there's an annoying sniper across the map who won't die, spot them.
If the multiplayer seems to work fine while single player has a bit of lag problem, obviously adapting won't be easy if he's switching back and forth between the modes.
Problem is that there's lag and it needs to be fixed, not ignored.
It's actually pretty good. I'm having issues with the PS3 version as it keeps on freezing my PS3. It has happened 3 times now. I got a mission from Batman and the moment I clicked on accept, the entire thing froze.
Downloading the PC version though.

I just remembered that my PS3 copy of Dead Space 2 came with Dead Space Extraction. I should probably check it out, since I've got a PS3 Move.
Agreed - this comparison is pointless - there shouldn't even be one! If you run Battlefield 3 on the highest settings and look at how pretty it is and compare it to MW3 highest settings, you really wonder if IW did try to put any effort within their development on the PC front, or they just wanted to make a quick buck on all platforms. It's clear to know which.
