This is going to hit 1000 degs in no time.
Agreed, and this is certainly not the first (or last) E3 they did the same thing. I believe even last year's E3 had CoD but only during their keynote.
They love CoD so much they pay for timed exclusive DLC, it almost looks like CoD is an exclusive to them.
Come to think of it, this was probably planned months ahead of E3 and would've been AWESOME news to the Wii U fans that were really hungry for substance at the Press Conference. Could've at least announced it during one of the long Nintendoland segments.
It's ironic how the actual measures meant to teach pirates a lesson end up hurting the legit customers instead. :/
I'm also thinking it'll be around the $300 mark.

"No one cares about this thing enough."
Maybe you don't, but some/most of us do.
Nintendo's business is solely in gaming, always has been. For this reason, Microsoft or Sony can take hits or losses in the gaming divisions because they can recuperate it in a different division, such as from the software division on Microsoft's side.
Apparently the pink tie is more important than whatever the headline says.
If I remember correctly, I tried to give Too Human multiple chances but...It just sucked.
People have different opinions ergo, they have the right to disagree with anyone. All they're doing is just exercising that right. :/
On his statement, getting in early and cheap might have worked once for Ninty because they were targeting a different demographic back then. They had a new console that stood out from the competition because it was very different. They then tapped into the (large) casual market that hadn't been tapped before by anyone in the same way. T...
Dead Space 2 was okay, but Dead Space 1 has a better horror aspect IMO. It seems like EA is going the same route as Capcom. Isaac now has a cover system in Dead Space 3 and there's co-op, all unnecessary for a horror game coming from the roots of Dead Space 1.
Don't get me wrong, co-op is very fun for certain games (like Borderlands) but for a horror game it kind of doesn't belong there. The sense of being with someone else makes you feel more secure - if you get ...
I can promise you that you won't be disappointed.
Awesome memories! This has to be one of the best hack n' slash games I've played this gen. I sold my PS3 copy after beating the game but thank god I have a Steam copy. I'm gonna download/install the game and play through it again because the fun is well worth it!
I say let them take their time to work on Darksiders II and polish it, rather than rush it out with half the game full of bugs. I'm willing to wait, but one thing is definitely clear: It's time to...
If only your wish were to be granted.
All they (Capcom) want is a quick cash grab, one way being through their outrageous DLCs. Another way of doing this is making a game appeal to a broader audience by making it easier - remove the challenging survivor horror aspect for an easier block-buster action oriented theme. Slap a survival-horror sticker on it then call it a day.
This is sadly a trend that's happening with this specific genre. EA is also taking a...
Correction - they have died by his hand.
Ubisoft>Sony>EA>Micro soft>Nintendo
Solved it.
Once again, more proof that the media knows jack about the gaming world.
I'm 100% sure there are people out there who believe the Wii U is a new portable device from Nintendo with a screen in the middle, capable of interfacing the Wii in all sorts of ways.
E3 is done, and of all the people, the French stole the show.
I was disappointed with the conference. If Nintendo's strategy to get us hardcore back is through games we've already played and beaten, then they're in for a tough time.
I wasn't impressed - I didn't see anything that made me say "Oh GOD, DAY ONE BUY WII U!", but more on the lines of "Meh".
It's clear they think they can replicate the Wii's success back in 2006. They're in for some serious disappointment. ...
I'm really let down by Ninty. Disappointed.
Pikmin was great, but then on everything went downhill. How did they think that the hardcore would jump right on the Nintendoland stuff??
I kept wishing that Nintendo announce something near the end of the show, A new Metroid for example, to blow everyone away, but it looks like my expectations were too high.
If Nintendo's focus this time is getting back the hardcore, how will they win them ...
Agreed,
Also in the interview he describes how liberated he felt the moment he walked out of the doors, to his new studio, 22Cans. He states that this now gives him more creative freedom that he didn't have working at Lionhead under Microsoft's deal. He can now experiment with ideas and take risks, (something Microsoft rarely does).
Yes, he used to keep promises that he couldn't fully deliver before. But he's got a clean slate, with a new comp...
