Patcher just gives me something to laugh at every time he opens his mouth. Some gamers here could take his job and (absolutely) do better than him.
Not exactly backwards compatibility, but nevertheless a good idea.
Some people complain that it produces a distracting reflection/glare on the screen during gameplay (glossy screen types).
Personally I don't have a problem with the light bar. Last time I checked, isn't it the only indication that the controller is on?

This seems like a good start. I might consider grabbing one later on.
Anyone with an idea what the largest memory card size the Vita supports?
On the sidenote,
what the hell happened to long demos? Scratch that,
What happened to demos??
Jesus...
The amount of buthurt Xbox One fans on this site is amazing.
Was wondering if I was the only person who didn't find them funny :/
Can't wait for the game though!
Other than 3rd party support (of course), I'd say Microsoft was done with the 360 the moment they released Kinect. I don't think we'll see any more 1st party studios from now on...only Xbox One.
I understand that the 360 is in its last aging process but it is their best console to date! Some support would be understandable, IMO.
Pretty ambitious though, but it's never stopped modders from creating really awesome things.
Pretty ambitious...considering if I remember correctly, the world of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind had one hell of a huge map!
No fellow old timer here. Just a "new timer" instead. Sir, I do hope (like most of us here) to reach your age while still gaming hard. :D
"Newsflash sparky everyone sells video games! I found a copy of Colonial Marines at the bottom of my cereal box. I gave it to the dog as a chew toy. He wouldn’t even have it!"
I just had to laugh there!
How is this shoddy??
We've got hundreds of thousands of people who finally just got their PS4s and are at once trying to access the PSN servers with excitement! :D I'm sure Sony foresaw this and as weird as this might sound, it's a good problem for them to have!
It's going to be a long wait for the 1000th person, but I can imagine there are probably more. As long as there are 1000 PS4s then that guy's wait is worth it.
On the other hand no we all know that launch units ALWAYS run out. So if they have 999 PS4s, then it sucks for the 1000th person on the line.
1000 people in line???? Are you kidding me? And this is only one place...
I can only imagine the rest of the places!
It could be also that they had initially planned to use all 1280 stream processors and then decided to disable them (for the moment) until maybe a firmware update later.
Interestingly though is how Sony never mentioned anything about this. They were confident enough that the available stream processors were more than enough.

It would be very hilarious if Sony congratulated Microsoft for...launching late??
Honestly I don't know what is going to happen. But my gut tells me Nintendo launched a bit too early. They took a chance to go first but also knowing very well that Sony and Microsoft would launch with their next gen consoles within a year, resulting in the competition overshadowing the Wii U.
We'll have to wait and see.
Proudly brought to you by Microsoft
I do know one honest thing: the moment my PS4 comes out of the box will be the last moment it will ever be turned off.
Damn... these days articles are gonna start like: "PlayStation 4 Back In Sto... wait. They're out again"
