I do agree with you. It goes beyond sites like Kotaku, 1UP, etc. Even on N4G articles are posted by some with complete one sided motives (nothing new) but its also part of the 'problem'.
This is how it goes ....
poster reads article on Kotaku -> Submits bait article on N4G -> creates a frenzy with the article reaching 1000 degrees -> Kotaku article is hit by N4G readers to read what all the fuss is about

yes ... from a production standpoint dropping the controller was a 'nice touch'. As a fan of gaming (forget bias for a second) this is like a slap in the face.

In closing, I made fun of my friend for being such a diehard Sony fanboy before I left his place.
