I still want an AC game about the origins of the ninja and an AC game that finishes the franchise but it's all in present time. After that they can bury the Assassin's Creed title
At that price i'm on it. Just want TLOU2 and that Samurai game.
Considering it's backed by sony but out-performs the pro with the x version, I'd say so. Has to be a bit embarrassing.
i think this is the overall problem with gaming in general, the lack of innovation. RDR2 is fantastic in every regard, but it's still the same old same open world adventure. I'm not sure how much innovation can come out of gaming even though there's so much tech to play with yet we still keep getting essentially the same games every year.
When Sony was king of resolution that’s all any xbox player heard now that the tables turned we always see these articles. Sad

I wanted this game but then heard it was shorter and didn't have a lot of gameplay in it compared to the first 2. That's a pass for me.
Remember when N4G critics would say embargos that close to release is a bad thing and shows the game is trash or the lack of faith in the game? No one will say this now
Console exclusives matter for sure but it's not the end all be all. Sony has the best exclusives by far but that's because those are the types of games I like, best is subjective. Anyone saying console exclusives don't matter is just lying.

i wholeheartedly agree. Once again overpromised and underdelivered. I loved the first game, this second one just didn't cut it. The one sided progression when co-op'ing, the lack of co-op fans really wanted. Its just all meh.
We wanted a co-op where we could survive and build together, actually build a community from the ground up.
There's no comparison. The original is always king unless the copy does something dramatically different. The reboot to tomb raider really took the genre to another level with the grit and danger around every corner.
That's always the issue when consoles tout more power, there's really no big difference in games. You might get bigger puddles or something, better textures, faster loading, but nothing dramatic to be like wow this is the best console ever. There's been no game yet to really push the pro or x to the max of their abilities, no game that has innovated to take advantage of all the power in either system. it does appear to be a downgrade visually. The e3 trailer everything had a polished realism to it, that's not the case now. Still looks insanely beautiful. And they did shrink the size of the puddle, why though? Doesn't seem significant unless it was eating up resources in that scene.

Lol here we go again, overkill needs to just stop with console releases. I don't mind delays to games but this company has a terrible history with console support.

Why should he be? Spiderman will sell great for an exclsuive, Tomb Raider will sell great as well. The series reboot has been incredible.
CDPR's trackrecord should comfort you, they won't release a hyped up trash game like other devs. We've been waiting to see it for years and maybe the release date is too far off for them to tease us, who knows. I just know that when it does release, it's going to be epic.
