Now with the Playstation I enjoyed crash bandicoot spyro the dragon, final fantasy 9, jet moto. Loved Tekken, a panda beating the crap of Bruce Lee called Lee Law no less hell yeah. Soul calibur 2 was simply awesome so much so I played it at the college grounds with my friends, at home against my girl at the local arcade. Okay I really soul calibur 2. Just like the blogger I too started the whole survival horror genre with Resident Evil. All in all gamin...

Nice blog, a trip down memory lane no less. I am proud to say that like you it was super Mario bros for the NES that got me into gaming. I also played all the Mario games except Mario 64. Meaning I didn't bought the n64 but a Sony Playstation instead ; nevertheless, so many of my childhood memories come from playing the NES and SNES like playing the original contra with the football enemies (okay they were soldiers), bartman which is a ridiculously hard platformer, the original ...

Yup we are on our own when it comes to video game issues like you said Valve Steam service lacks a good technical support and yes you are right there is no bloody phone number. When I have an issue with a game I have to Google or use Steam forums to see what the problem is and how to fix it. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Is like Linux were every issue you have with the operating system you have to rely on the community.

I agree is worse with consoles like you forgot to mention no free online gaming no more. Can't play old school games unless you hook up your old console or the fact you are dealing with waiting for game developers to fix your game, there is no option for gamers to fix their games.

Oh shit, I am torn on this reminds me of how much I love Walmart (yes I keep hearing is a shit company to be employed for) and never went to the strikes against it. Now I know about the sale doctrine which grants consumers the legal right to buy used products, resell them and trade them. On the other hand there is Steam with some sweet sweet extremely sweet deals (strike suit zero for $2.99 released last month, tomb raider $12.50 released on March 2013), I create my own pool of games vi...

Is it not possible to have both (able to resell say steam games, trade, and buy used plus keep the deals), it's our legal right to resell and trade say products along with buying used products.

Sorry I am one of the few gamers that will not pay to play for online gaming whether is Sony or Microsoft. I still believe online gaming should be free; good news is it will be free on PC. This is a decent post

Yes but it will be done gradually

This blogger just wrote pure nonsense and is true this community is afraid of change. Now here's a radical idea that no one in this community may approve, too radical and too much change. Is time for the big three to pack their bags and go home, the time has come to hand the gaming industry to gamers. Let gamers decide which games are worth playing and wich ones are not, promote say games, fund say games. In order for it to work is basically have a small company just handle the pa...

I guess is time for Nintendo to release a gaming tablet.

Which is what consoles have become. Gone are the guncon controller based games, shmups, arcade racing/sports, brawler games, Jrpgs (most of these games are on mobile devices like the 3DS), etc.

I don't know, how the trading card system works. So I am not going to judge it. I did read about it through steam but is vague as hell. I do miss the collection hints in the sense it allowed people to buy indie games they didn't really care about. Also missing thus far is the bundle packages. I love those. Damn it should of bought those need for Speed shift games when they were 75% off curses.

Okay I am new to this whole trading card system. Okay how does it work and how did you made money out of this.?

true is disappointing because in a lot of ways Microsoft has hurt the gaming industry. Sadly the blogger didn't mention anything in regards to how Microsoft prevented game developers from releasing free dlc, charged say developers for updating and patching their own creations, the ability to run their own networks/servers, hell they were even charged for using more than two DVD 9 discs. DVD 9 format prevented game developers from truly giving us next generation games.

Forget my previous comment I messed up badly. So bad I put a link for buying flash drives in bulk. Damn it, my cell phone betrayed me lol.

Okay personally I applaud the blogger for trying to write in regards to exposing Microsoft for all it's wrong doings in the gaming industry.

Now I am glad that gamers put their foot down in regards to xbox one DRM policies. I applaud gamers for waking up and standing up to Microsoft yay!!!

I agree with you because what you say is true. But here is a real blog on how Microsoft ruined this gaming generation :

I hate to say this but Sony just keeps and keeps copying Microsoft which is bad. Nintendo has become utterly clueless, now in regards to what you said about Nintendo you were talking about the Nintendo seal of ...
