That's what sucks that is the reason why I am kickstarting some of my games like among the sleep a survival horror game from the view of a two year old, distance one of the few or probably last arcade racer similar to Tron. Not of this create an account, pay to play online gaming crapola

RAM allocations, OS footprint, resources, the hell is this. For sure as hell is not a gaming console. Why oh why must consoles be more PC like, consoles were better when they were machines that played only games and showed console gamers how gaming was going to evolve via visuals, game play mechanics, story, etc. None of this crap of kinect, gamepad, or social media. I like what the blogger says but I whole heartily disagree the future of console gaming is to imitate the PC ga...

I accidentally disagreed meant to agree. Anyhow voice commands are nothing new. Remember the first Socom U. S. navy seals it used the microphone of your headset to issue commands. Now with kinect if it can bring what we saw with Milo and can bring the illumini room. Then yeah it will be innovative, if not is going to be a gimmick no more no less

You are talking about the oculus rift. Which is what I am waiting for not this gimmicky kinect. I am talking about a device that uses virtual reality

I don't see games surpassing literature any time soon. Meaning video games are entertainment first and foremost second literature has had an impact on society along with being used in school. Now games need to drop several things before it can even surpass films like hiding from the enemy or stepping aside to heal. Crippling, graze shots should be implemented instead, like graze shots only do hardly any damage, a shot to the arm cripples it by preventing the player to shoot is...

Wow impressive can't argue with what you said due to its spot on

Yeah the walking dead sacrifice exploration and challenge as in difficulty in order to deliver a phenomenal story. The thing is despite games being rooted in action it has the potential to grow. Meaning as opposed to having a health bar or worst yet hide and heal like an idiot. Let's demand for something more realistic like crippling for example a shot in the head instant kill, or a graze shot just slightly injured ; whereas, a shot to the leg unable to run, dodge, and walk lik...

Umm so with the wii u only the highest quality indie titles will be on board. I understand about quality over quantity ; it just neglects niche, odd, unique titles. Sony approach is better, yes there will be rubbish indies but who cares at least is getting every odd, niche indie out there. Games like Lucius, Lone survivor, even slender, or say the void might not make it to wii u due to its low quality or too odd.

It sure lacks the features from say xbox live gold, the upcoming PS4 like the whole spectator mode, true skill system, xbox live party system, video chat, conjunction with social services like Skype, Twitter, Facebook. No ustream, twitch tv support, etc. That it has dedicated servers probably yes, that it runs it's online games with very little lag and are stable during online play probably yes. But still a very basic online gaming service, it needs perks

I understand your points clearly ;however, a big major publisher may force the indie developer to add unnecessary features or decline their games due to being niche, odd, not your run of the mill game. Another option which is not considered but could help out Sony is a green light equivalent. Now now now I know is not perfect, too many rubbish games, lack of this lack of that. I strongly believe that gamers should be allowed to choose which indies are worth playing and which are not w...

I don't agree nor disagree but I like green light in the sense we gamers decide which indies or classic games belong on steam or want to play on steam. Now because of that yes there is a lot of rubbish on green light and is up to us gamers weed out the bad ones from the good ones it may not be fun but is worth it

I agree because we are talking about a customer service agent not the developer. The game developer is the person to ask about why the p90 has a larger magazine than in real life. The customer service representative is only responsible to help you out if you run into basic problems like unable to connect online, unable to log in to your account, etc. That's why this blog threw me off as to why would you ask the customer service representative in regards to the weapons of say game wh...

That's very cool indeed hopefully these trading cards have a mini game of sorts were the winner earns prizes like a free booster pack, $100.00, or a free game.

4597d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

While true, the downside is that trading cards are free plus according to IGN not me game developers make money out of these cards with PS Plus the developers don't make money. Second Valve makes money out of this and the gamer makes money. Not a lot but enough to buy kickass indies or dlc content. Is a win win for everyone involved.

Both Bayoneta 2 and Xenoblade 2 can easily run on the PS3, 360, even PC. The ace in the hole is Mario kart for wii u, which demonstrated both creativity and ingenuity.
