I've become a COD4 enthusiast in the same way I still play CS Source. Mighty good fun. Wish the stats would report a bit more though - the way CS Source does. Much fun to be had when you're a stat whore :)
I think you, my friends and brethren should petition for my inclusion inthe film :P
Not mine though. Otherwise I've really enjoyed COD4 so far. No such things as noob cannons - if a weapon or a perk is available - it's fair game for use in my book. I still get irritated at times but hey, that's life! :)
The discussion reminds me of CS Source where everyone that uses the sniper rifle is a noob and irritates the hell out of everyone else. Still fun though! I don't want a war simulator that's too realistic - otherwise they'd all be largely one shot, one kill gun...
Politicians will always say what they believe they should say allowing them to get the maximum leverage in any given situation. Individual beliefs are often sidelined to secure a popular vote on a topic. This means that, if in the future, the content of some games become controversial in some way, the politician in question may present a view that differs from his or her personal view (even if he plays games at home with his kids). I'll still be playing GTA4, I'm still playing COD4 and Gran Turismo - I simply don't have enough hours in the day for all the games. If reviews are favourable, I may rent it or wait till it's cheaper.
why they even need to have a price cut? Where the Wii is available, it's selling very well clearly. Pretty soon everyone on the planet will have a Wii but be playing on the PS3/XBox360 ...

I'm all for adult games for adults. Greater information for parents to make an informed decisions in purchasing games and ratings that are complied with. Censorship is not required or desired :)
I remember (back in the day) when there would be two camps in my classroom - the ZX Spectrum 48k camp and the Commodore 64 camp. Have adult themes in games for sure - I'm all for that (I am an adult afterall) but not just for the sake of having it... If people want to be titillated (not used that word for ages) - go watch porn ... there's lots of it and most of it is free!

If it wasn't for the cost of the iphone with contract, I'd have got one already. If Nokia bring out a copy - Oooops, I mean an independently designed and well working, user friendly phone, I'll get it as my next (free) upgrade :)
