I don't need the wii to tell me that :)
But, on a more serious note, I can see why being told you're overweight can dent a person's self confidence - particularly a child. I hope parents are not using wii fit as a primary tool for exercise and health - it's just a game and should be treated as such. It's not a way of life.
And it sounds plausible and he's not a cheat - and I'm envious he had it before the game was officially released. I'm not envious of him living in Hull though ;)
on PSN - has that been fixed or is it just me? My PS3 froze to begin with but seems to have sorted itself out. Although, when I exit the game it reboots my PS3 - is that normal?
Will check it out when I get home tonight!

But I wouldn't say it was art. But saying something is an 'artform' doesn't mean it is art in the traditional sense of the word. In the same way that saying a hollyood actor is an artist doesn't mean s/he can paint ...
But, it's hardly pornoviolence. It's an interactive game ... with adult themes. Why do we have to get bogged down in semantics?
I was devastated, depressed and generally hopping mad but then it worked after some gentle pursuasion. Managed to do about 6% of the game so far. Awesome.
As for the kids ... why are their parents (a) letting them play the game and (b) letting them stay off school?

I'm a PS3 owner and no one asked me. I'm not begging for anything. The trouble I have with these types of (mis)representations is that they're taking views from gaming forums - where the 'hardcore' gamer sits and has time or takes time to complain/air their views. I don't see that as necessarily being representative of all PS3 owners at all.
