is why the movie studios (and music) seem to have devalued the humble DVD to such a degree. It's now cheaper to buy some DVDs than it is to rent them. And with the PS3 upscaling, I wont buy any Blu-rays till the prices come down much more.

It makes no difference to me (or my life) one way or the other. PS3 will get the game too and it will be good. This kind of thing only really concerns fan boys so I say meh!
But I wouldn't mind giving it a go if they made a demo available for Europe. It might get a new lease of life!

This is a gaming website. You're talking about everything BUT the story. Different countries have different moral values - even with Europe each country allows different content for its citizens. Content you can see in Germany cannot be seen in the Uk for example. That is perfectly acceptable and normal. I have a PS3 so I'll be getting that version. But 3:1 ratio is pretty staggering. I wonder if it's a blip or whether it's a general trend. I haven't really seen any adverts or any real push from Sony to promote their bundle (I may have missed this though). Either way, and for once both PS3 and XBox360 owners can enjoy a wonderful game when it's made available - something magical :)
