The FTC broke a number of amendment laws and M$ and Activision called them out on it. Funny enough, all the "M$/Activision responds the FTC" articles got failed here last week by a mod citing it was old information when they literally just released it lol
Can't block the deal then ask for concessions lol. Concessions come first and good on EU for calling out the FTC for "misleading" everyone and using them as the reason for wanting the deal blocked.
The FTC was never going to approve this. They have a thing against big tech corps. It's a stall tactic (which they are being sued for next year) hoping one of the other 3 will block it. Cma says no then the deal fails and they won't have to go to court.

Where's the lie? Even the mass majority of Sony fans on this site have been saying that COD is trash for the last decade. Now all a sudden it's the best game ever?? Sony doing all this crying about 1 game is pretty amusing tho. Trying to convince regulators that they'll close up shop without COD but manage to survive a $600 ps3 era and outsell the 360 who was the go to console for the game.
Splatoon 3 sold 8 million in 2 months. For comparison it took the last of us part 2 around 2 years to sale 10 million.
