COD has topped the charts every year for the last 15 years. Even the worse game in the series can easily sell over 17 million copies
Literally the first sentence I said is the biggest reason for the lawsuit. No one has a problem with publishers setting prices high. It's just that if mom and pops could sell COD digital cards in their store for $30 but it's $70 on PSN, you don't have an option of buy the game for $30 from mom and pop because Sony blocks digital games not bought on psn. Forcing you to spend $70 if you only own a digital console.
Sony doesn't allow you to buy digital copies of games from any place else except the psn.
M$, pc and Nintendo allows it.
Psn sells game for $40 while you can get a digital copy from xstore for $9 on the Xbox, pc, Nintendo.
