After reading this I am pretty sure that this is not the same type of DRM like the One originally had but more to do with having to have the disk in to validate the playing of games, just my ideas about it.

As far as I am concerned small time uploaders do not contribute to mass viewing so I can see that being an unfortunate casualty but that may be the price to pay for this feature.

They had better have a a layout for L1/R1, I have tried the DS4 and although the triggers are nice, you can't beat the responsiveness of the L1/R1 buttons.
