I thought this looked really good (graphically)...then I realized its all PC footage/ screens.
Seriously though, if it actually comes out on 360 as it was supposed to, and still looks like this, color me pretty impressed. One thing is for sure: This looks way better than GTA4.
If this happens I will LOL so hard!! Seriously, I have both consoles so the MGS:R announcement affected me not one iota....However, From what I have seen, ME2 looks really sweet and I do think a closer from the Sony conf tomorrow featuring this would cause some serious 360 fanboy meltdown, ala MS FFXIII E3 08.
Either way, tomorrow might be interesting...I'm sad as I will be at work before it starts but I will check in afternoon.
I agree Raz, but look at teh recent history. FFXIII and VS are the only games that seem like will at least be main PS3 games.

Don't start a damn flame-war. The game looks awesome. BTW, this is the PS3 version. It is a demo off blu-ray. When 360 looks the same or better than ps3 version then, the fanboys can alternately cry/gloat. Wait till there is a 360 final footage, then compare laugh, whatever. I don't care. I will be enjoying the game itself.
The graphics are pretty much spot on from the original "e3 demo" the animations uh, not quite. This is a demo though. Also, the part with the airship we have not yet seen so I imagine that the parts where lighting was upside down shooting will appear in the final game. We will see how much of that craziness makes it in to the combat engine. However, from interviews, this is apparently about only a 3rd to half of what the combat will contain in the final. I'm hyped.

The individual hair rendering and animation is vary fluid. The music is truly epic. This will be a mega hit. Hype at maximum, and rising. Yeah, I know that's impossible. I hear you, but remember this is a jrpg. This level of graphics has not been seen at all yet. Like you said, we have to go outide the genre to find this fidelity..til now. Oh and the XIII vs in-game cutscene. Words cannot describe just how smooth that was.

This is the demo version. The music will be different in the finished game. Everything here is still in stages of temporary. Wait til the release.

Do you really think MGS4 has poor graphics!??! Cause it blew me away the Char models especially.
So...I had lost some of my enthusiasm for this game because of all the negativity. However, this new footage looks really spectacular (especially the in game stuff) I can't wait to see the full trailer.
