An absolute amazing series of games.
MGS1 is something special and I actually played #1 a few months before #2 was released. At that time MGS1 was the best game I had played and I was playing PS2 games.
The microwave scene IMO is the greatest moment in video games.
The final battle was special.
Sniper Wolf stands out in my mind as does taking down the Sniper in MGS3 (forget his name) & crying Wolf.

Why would they immediately cut the price of the Elite, because with all its features and a cheaper console the only way MS can look good is if PS3 is still the dearest console on the market. Microsoft couldn't take that risk.
As naive as people are they will most likely go for the cheapest console. Get home and get online to find out they've been sucked into the dearest console on the market.

Mario Kart is the exact same game as......Mario Kart on the SNES, with a few new tracks. Mario Kart is awesome if you are too young to have played the others.
Madden on the Wii don't compare to PS3/360 and it don't even compare to PS2 or PSP

Madworld is the hardcore Wii game, don't compare to Prototype let alone, inFamous, GTA 4, Saints Row 2
But on the other hand you get Little Big Planet, singstar, GH/Rockband (yes they are on Wii, but these are casual games that are better on PS3/360)

We as humans desire what is the fad, and for 3 years the Wii was the fad. Everyone that played Wii sports and a few other games on your first night playing, suddenly went out and purchased a Wii and probably bought Wii Fit, a Mario game, maybe a sport game etc.
My thoughts on the Wii in the first month of playing compared to now is so far apart and it all comes down to games.
Now that instead of just 1 or 2 mates having the PS3 and saying they bought it at this price, no...
I have bought Madden every year and all though I have seen gradual improvements I continually play offline, I also dabble in the online games and online franchise always seems to put the game in once a day and I also own NCAA 10.
COD World at War is not just another COD game, it's just another shooter. Why would you buy a shooter every 3,6,12 months or every time COD/Halo/Killzone have a new game.

GTA 4 although a good game, couldn't live up to the hype we all were expecting from San Andreas to move onto bigger systems. I was let down by it going back to LC and it didn't expand on anything except visuals. But we already knew it was going to look better.

We do earn more an hour than U.S.A and obviously we pay more too, because we are a country that loves exports. Our Aussie made stuff is good, but most of us rather buy from other countries.

My video game rental store has had 17 XBOX 360 discs come back in a unrentable state, that's in 8 months
Yet to have a PS3 disc have a problem. And you can't expect that PS3 gamers treat their discs better, it's the quality of the 360 that has cost me $$$.
Thats $50 for every account too.
Made multi platform games specifically for the PS3, 360 & Wii.
You would then see 3 different styles of games, but unfortunately PS3 multi platforms are held back.

Been here 8 months and hadn't sold a single PS3. New model and new price, advertised on my sandwich board for 2 days and I've already sold 3.
1.5 - (To me at least) Football and sports games overall have become obsolete

Well there is another MGS being made for the PS3 & 360.
I'd have to say no, because every MGS has gotten better since the previous, but I can't see how the next MGS will be better because it will only be restricted to what the 360 can produce. The game would have been outstanding if just a PS3 exclusive, seeing how it'll be over 2 years since MGS4
