PS3 have had some good games come out since Killzone and quite possibly they are playing those. Now the article has 4 multiplats on the list, PS3 owners have ALOT of games to choose from.

Played them all for an hour before I just got bored of the same thing.
Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 don't have anyone online because PS3 owners have other GREAT games to play.
+ Shooters are the same thing after a month.
MW2 will be on that list as should MW.

I thought the Sniper Wolf & Crying Wolf sniper patterns were also great, more so Crying Wolf.
But Goldeneye is the best shooter still out.

COD is a linear game and the story will make the White House get taken over. What about the White House got taken over because I wasn't good enough in the campaign, so they took us all out and invaded the U.S.
You are going to be getting the best gaming series in history coming to your console, you obviously know that because your name states it.
However that game isn't worth anything if you haven't played the entire MGS series.
The whole MGS series is an experience, not just a game. Unfortunately you'll miss that, but you will finally have a great game to play on 360.
I would have said GTA4 was the biggest underachievement.
Not because it was a bad game either, but it just didn't live up to our own hype, San Andreas or the media hype.
Fighting on American soil in this style of game is rare.
I remember PS2 Freedom Fighters being set in NY, but can't remember others.
I believe this could really add to the game, however a huge attack on America to start the "Games War" could cross boundaries.
We all know the event that triggered huge emotions and I don't know how distastful it could be to;
A - recreate that type of feeling to start the game

The 2d > 3d jump happened on the PS2 - GTA III was 3D
With Uncharted I actually felt like I was playing a Tomb Raider game. The whole story thing was done back on the PS1 with MGS.
Flower definately is innovative, but doesn't interest me 1 bit.

Fallout 3 & Wii Sports did exactly what you described.
The moment you mentioned MGS 4, Halo, Batman I stopped reading.
Graphics, gameplay refinements, online, game modes are expected.
I want something that is truely special and not a rehash of something old.

I never really have got into shooters since Goldeneye, as I still don't believe the genre has advanced any further besides online multiplayer and refinement of controls (which is expected)
But your explanation about blowing stuff up and having to keep moving is "Like real war" was what made me take notice.

I am a PS3/360/Wii/NDS/PSP/PS2 owner and there are plenty of games that have come out that are desirable for the console I prefer to play.
Multiplatforms are games too and if you are a 360 owner obviously 2 x Halo games and a few average exclusives, but they have got some very good multiplatform games that could easily have gotten your teeth into in 09.
