For a game that is as talked up as it is, why only one ending and only 15-20 hours of gameplay?
I think people assumed this would be an infinite running game.
Wright may have shot himself in the foot a little here.
I guess I misunderstood the tone at which you wrote the blog, hehe.
Yeah I saw the beginning and immediatly thought of The Day After Tomorrow with the mall glass.
After our conversation I decided to redact my previous declaration.
I'll approve now :)
Show me a game that doesn't have some sort of inspiration that it draws on.
Even Pong has its inspiration from Table Tennis.
One of my pet peeves is this article appearing for the 3rd time in the pending queue.
I approved it the first and second time, but the third time you lost my points.
Sorry.
It is one of the new added "perks" of being a Gold Member.
Edit:
How do you disagree with this? It is a fact you have to have a Gold membership in order to use their new Netflix streaming ability through Xbox Live.
How is that immature and unprofessional? They have set goals and trying to obtain the unobtainable.
Personally, I love this competition. Perhaps Sony will do more to strengthen their first party portfolio and Microsoft will then in turn have to strengthen and increase their first party presence.
You know, the first BluRay movie(s) I will buy when I get my PS3 will be the Planet Earth series.
So Good.
Show me where the evidence is that Microsoft paid SquareEnix to have Final Fantasy XIII multiplatform. For the sake of an arguement let us say that Microsoft DID pay SquareEnix than why wouldn't they just cut them a bigger check to ensure a world-wide multiplatform release?
Finally, you have your facts wrong. Xbox 360 production has all ready started (as Square has specifically said in those post-conference interviews). The thing that will be starting after the PS3's Japan rele...
Please stop talking and acquire some new, quality, first party IPs.
Thank you.
And how is that trophy support?
Inovative, is it?
Any company can announce new games until they are blue in the face (remind me again when Final Fantasy XIII was announced and when it will be released? Oh yeah, probably not til the end of 2009 at best). I'd prefer a company that delivers instead of making elaborate showing of games we won't be able to touch for at least another year (bare minimum). When the PS3 starts delivering, I will be there picking up a PS3.
Netflix is a great service and now that I can stream movies instantly it really saves me from planning what I want to watch with my girlfriend when we can just surf the library and watch movies on the fly.
I am currently on the 4-DVD@Home Unlimited Plan and I have been for the past 3 years.
The only reason people like Ghoul will knock it is because they are jealous of the service that is now available to Gold members IF THEY SO CHOOSE.
As anothe...
I hope we can change color schemes.
Gray is going to get old very very fast.
Earthquake inducing unborn babies.
Atleast we are getting some original IPs.
What is it now with everyone copying Microsoft. Geez.
Everything now is broken into a simple forumla:
<Color> <Object that Diagnoses a Problem (Ring, Light, Screen)> of Death.
Come on. Geez.
Note the sarcaism?
I've noticed that reading is a luxury on this website and not a necessity to articulate one's own points.
You do know that when Starcraft came out the exact same things were being said about it?
Then it was released and ensnared a huge younger demograph (for the time).
Of course he is going to deny it!
I'm sure he would've said the same thing about Final Fantasy LAST week.
Not a bad attempt, looks neat.
