Why!?
It's not like they don't have enough money to keep them running. Geez.
No, I understand perfectly well what you attempting to do but I don't think you understand what *I* am trying to say.
Let me summarize it for you in one sentence:
A list is not a blog.
Sorry but Square made both Final Fantasy: Spirits Within and Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, not Sony. The only part that Sony played in it was the distribution (Columbia Pictures and Sony Home Entertainment, respectivly).
Doom: Knee Deep In Hell is a great book.
I also liked the Mass Effect but the Doom book is easily one of my favorite books regardless of its roots in a video game.
360 + 360 = 720.
And where are you getting your information on who owns what?
On top of that your title reads that these are games that are DEAD and that you want sequels for to be released on the PS3.
I stand by my initial report. This is just a list and on top of that it incorporates games that have recently seen released and are not dead. To add to that you do not even elaborate why you'd like to see each game revived. Jet Moto? Why the heck would you want Jet Moto raised si...
Half-life made the modern day first person shooter popular. What Half-Life did for the genre was inject it with a real story that unfolded as you played.
You were right for your point. Halo, is in fact, what paved the way for the modern FPS. Now all FPSes incorporate multiplayer aspects and console aspects that seem directly emulated from Halo.
I'd buy the keyring.
I think that would be a neat feature that could go a long way. A new way of battling computer piracy.
Exactly.
You are in PRISON, not summar camp.
Take them all away.
Typical.
You do know that well before Microsoft even released Windows there were console fanboys? Heck even character fanboys?
Sega Genesis vs. Nintendo
Sonic vs. Mario
The only thing that has really changed for this generation is the internet and the availability to get a mouthpiece to those fanboys.
They have ALWAYS been around, it just was not until now they were heard on a widespread basis.
I really wish Microsoft would pick-up more real exclusives as well.
Sony has a ton in the pipe but they seem like an eternity until they will arrive.
We need real exclusives and soon.
Straight up FPS for the PS3?
RPGs on the 360?
Man, you are either dsylexic or smoking something.
360 is the sterotyped FPS console. However the RPGs are going to the 360 right now.
I don't think the PS3 has a genre defined for them. Maybe racing?
Amen to that.
Looks like Sony is going to reward that loyality with more delays.
A quick check to various references says the only thing Sony had was the initial publishing rights in North America and Europe.
Square published it in Japan and Internationally while Eidos had the rights later to publish the Windows based version.
SquareEnix owns the property itself.
Can someone PM me the article? I'm really interesting in what it says but I'm blocked at work :(
Thanks!
If you put ME at the top of that list, you won't be disappointed.
But people will still say it took 10 years, regardless.
That is the way this media is.
It's fine. It is nice to have a civil conversation sometimes in the comments section. No matter how rare they are. Bubbles for you :)
The PS3 has done nothing to appeal to the casual gaming crowd. They're attempting to ensnare a large enough portion of the hardcore crowd so they have a some wiggle room to focus elsewhere.
On top of that in the PS2's success is due to not only the gaming library but the early adoption of the DVD. The market isn't ready (as can be seen with sales data), no matter how you try to spin it, for HD and BluRay. Perhaps if BluRay picks up, but it's an expensive hobby for videophiles. It...
