I wish I could be there. Japan is so fantastic and TGS would be like video game wonderland. 4 different stage events for one game! Awesome!
I have been to Osaka this summer and I have been to Yodobashi Umeda (a VERY big electronics store). They advertise the Xbox one big time there. Multiple Xboxes where you can play/test games and employees demoing the Xbox. MS puts a lot of effort into selling the Xbox to japanese gamers. The sales put these efforts to shame though.
Japanese customers rely heavily on japanese products. A healthy stance I think.
I have preordered the remake. I own a PS3, but I was too busy playing on PC when TLOU was released on PS3. I don't care if the visual upgrade is minor. 60 fps are the reason why I built a PC, now I can enjoy TLOU in 60fps. No rip off at all in my opinion.
@pixelsword: you don't need a maxed out PC to outperform the current gen consoles.
And again: it is not only about the graphics. There are lots more things about PC gaming.

Wy is everybody here talking about graphix? The most important thing is the market value of PC gaming.
The influence on consoles is important too.
I was a playstation only gamer, but my view on gaming changed when I built my first gaming PC.
Companies like Nvidia and AMD would not be able to provide consoles with such fine GPUs if there was no PC gaming.

pCARS will sell on PS4 and on Xbox One. Forza and Drive Club will have bigger sales numbers, but they are not the same genre. pCARS is a sim and Drive Club and Forza are arcade racers.
Namco is not the puplisher. Namco is only distributor. As a distributor they don't have the power to make decisions like that.
I still prefer the DS3. And I play many PC games with it, but it's a good decision to make the DS4 compatible with the PS3. This is the way to go: consumerfriendly decisions.
A windows driver would be nice for both SONY controllers though. They could sell tons of them, because about half of the gaming community loves those controllers.
It might be about the biggest d..k for some people. But PC gaming has so much more to offer. But most important to me: I think everybody can choose for himself what platform is the best for himself. No need question if PC elitists are ruining gaming. Most of PC gamers are no elitists at all, many own one or more consoles and some simply can't play their prefered games/genre on a console.

He's not that bad and one could say, that it was a bad decision, to have both Big Boss and Solid Snake spoken by David Hayter, but it is definitely a strange decision to change the voice actor that late in the series when the original voice is still available.

I will buy it for PC, but I don't think they should force people to buy new consoles. We should force the devs to bring the games as good as possible on all the platforms.
I think exclusives are for selling consoles. I got mine for Killzone SF and MGS GZ.

Set the shadows to low and everything else to ultra. That does the trick for most of the people having problems with the performance.
And try to disable your third GPU dedicated to Physx.
If that does not work, try to play the game with a single GPU. SLI might be a problem too.

All so called "staged screenshots are taken from the game. Of course you have different views and detail when you move the camera freely.
And on top of that they've chosen the overhead camera for their "how the game really looks"-screenshots.
MGS games are for the fans of the series. If You are a fan, buy it, you will have lots of fun with it because you will do what fans of the series do: play the game in every thinkable or unthinkable way.
The game has a main mission and 5 side missions. When you look at the percentages of the trophies, you will see how few people have seen the whole game.
There is a good amount of content for the money in that game.
Yes and the value for money is superb with MGS GZ.
I am in pCARS since 10/2011 and I can assure that indeed it is in its own class. The physics and the ffb are phenomenal!
