Yeah, to hell with the gameplay - we all know that "next-gen" is defined by graphics, amirite?!

Also, from 2013:

Recently Mark Rein, Vice President at Epic Games, said Unreal Engine 4 would not be something Wii U gamers can look forward to, saying if developers want to ship Wii U titles they can use Unreal Engine 3.

However, he's now backtracked on this statement in an interview with Engadget:

"You heard the ...

Cool. We'll see how you feel when Bayonetta 2 drops.

So what you're saying is you haven't watched a single trailer in HD?

Nintendo games are for everyone.

Don't trivialize the console because you CHOOSE to overlook the fact that it also has:

- Assassin's Creed III & IV
- Call of Duty
- Mass Effect
- Deus Ex
- Splinter Cell
- ZombiU
- Batman
- Watch Dogs
- Bayonetta 2
- Project Cars

And a lot of the same Mature-rated games that the other consoles have. Still claiming that Wii U is...

Are you sure the people "justifying" aren't just keeping an open mind about it instead of condemning the lack of them as a "FAIL" without having played the new battle mode?

@Sugreev2001

It's the same as when people say the PS4 and Xbox One are "better" than Wii U - they haven't even completed half a year, right? But I don't see people poking holes when it's put into THAT context...

The only Nintendo games I own on Wii U are:
- New Super Mario Bros.
- Nintendo Land
- Super Mario 3D World
- Pikmin 3

The rest are third-party titles. Why do people act like th...

Got a Mario Kart party in the works, too! Even people who hardly touch games are psyched about Mario Kart!

I have over 20 games on Wii U.

What're you playing on PS4/Xbox One...?

That's been debunked. The person who originally broke the story apologized and said he pulled that screenshot from the 2011 E3.

Wow, there's a lot of poor info in the Nintendo portion:

"Nintendo tend to launch fresh Zelda titles late-on in their console's life cycle."

- Wind Waker: ~1 year into Gamecube
- Twilight Princess: ~5 years into Gamecube / Wii launch title
- Skyward Sword: ~5 years into Wii

"But while the Wii U is only a couple of years old..."

- Completely inaccurate.

"The onl...

"In marketing language, a gimmick is a unique or quirky special feature that makes something "stand out" from its contemporaries. However, the special feature is typically thought to be of little relevance or use."

How is the gamepad a gimmick?

- Off-screen play / video streaming
- A second screen for local multiplayer
- TV Tag
- Typing
- Drawing
- Video chat
- Voice chat
- Exclusive...

You definitely can't PLAY as a vampire in The Secret World, but they're definitely in the game in a very cool, very interesting way! Even Dracula himself, though there's a twist to his story!

It'll be a while yet before I drop money on PS4 or Xbox One - the games just don't appeal to me yet.

I've played the hell out of my Wii U since I bought it and I even had to use an external hard drive to hold what is swiftly becoming a hefty backlog.

Great time to own a Wii U before Mario Kart 8 and the other monster exclusives drop. I got Assassin Creed IV, Batman: Arkham Origins and Splinter Cell: Blacklist on Amazon for $70. I feel like that k...

Haven't been so in love with an MMO since The Secret World.

Here's hoping this one doesn't suffer the same fate.

Here's hoping it stays that way. Everything about it has blown me away in my 20+ hours of play, and I've spent so much time exploring the world that I'm only level 7.

The combat is leaps and bounds better than any Elder Scrolls game I've played, the soundtrack is gorgeous, and I can't take five steps without finding something new.

The recently announced end game content is an example of the massive updates produced within a reasonable amo...

It's brilliant. Only level six after playing all weekend - I'm having so much fun just exploring the world that I'm surprised when I level up!

After playing TESO all weekend, I couldn't bear the thought of logging into FFXIV even once. The difference is night and day!

You wouldn't know it from how ridiculously populated the world is.

4347d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Really? I've heard there's nothing to do at end game and that the world is a ghost town. Logged into my human character recently and saw only two players in Divinity's Reach in the fifteen minutes I spent running around before logging out.

Bought TESO late Friday night and played at least 15 hours over the weekend. There's so much to see and do that leveling up has largely become an afterthought and as I've today, I'm only level six.

This game is nothing like Guild Wars 2 (could never get into it no matter how hard I tried, WoW, FFXIV (Level 50 with iLvl 80+ gear), or any other MMO I've played.

It's brilliant and well worth the subscription to keep more content coming at reg...
